So i been away from collarme for maybe a year.

I just got back and went to search for anyone within 100 miles looking for a domme and no on showed up!!! i live in chicago and th BDSM Scene is huuuuge. I know plenty of Subs.

However online it seems like there is a over population of Dommes and not enough subs.

Does anyone else have the same problem with Collarme?

Wow, I found the opposite-lots of male Doms but hardly any females. In my group (Spokane, WA) there are just a handful of female Doms and plenty on male subs (and sub women too). Maybe you should move to Washington LOL... :)

Are you sure your search was working correctly?  I did a search with the following critieria and got pages and pages of hits:
 
male submissive
age = 18 - 99
state = Illinois
city = Chicago
seeking Dominant Women
 
I have been contacted by some subs in Chicago, complaining of the lack of Dommes there.  They seem to think there is an abundance of Dommes in Texas.  However, some of the subs here in Texas feel that there is a shortage of Dommes and there are more in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, etc.  Partly the "grass is greener" syndrome, no doubt.

Was just about to post the same thing ^, I just did the search myself to see what would happen since it seemed so odd and I came up with lots of subs listed. 

From my experience, don't bother trying to use a specific distance in the drop-down, leave it as "Any" and just type in "chicago" in the city and search.  Trying to use the new search parameters that were added always cause me to end up with no results.

HA it just now a few popped up Collarme was being screwy i guess.

But even now i find a handfull of male subs... but still i found 3 females in the area looking for females.

I just found literally pages after page of matches of both just female and just male subs.  Keep tinkering with the settings, the search is just moody!

seems everytime i search and put out the so to speak vibe on what i desire, they are  fresh out , yet when i just live and enjoy - what i seek seems to come to me .

CollarMe has lots of listings from "pro dommes".   I suppose they see it as a good place to get free advertising.  If you don't count those, the domme/sub ratio here seems pretty close to what you'd see in most venues, I think.
