The phrases you described sounds more like a control freak to me. Not someone I'd consider a dom. Yes, some would. Just not me. While Doug controls me he doesn't have to blatantly say it over and over to convince me.
Not sure if this is making sense or not. It just sounds so odd to me.
Aye well he isnt a Dom, He's a Master <grin> He doesnt say them over and over. Suppose i will explain eh? Firstly, i'm pretty thickheaded and stubborn. He''s also not blatantly saying anything. He's trying to get a point across to me about several different things. He likes things simple.
How does it feel to want? OOOOOOOoo funny story!!!! Master wanted me to get down on all 4fours and take a paddling with ta BIG STICK. i was feeling pretty out of my place and bratty and just not so, well i was rebelling.
Sitting in my chair. After much going back and forth about this paddling he wanted to give me. It was silly and fun, but with a seriousness. As i knew he was allowing me to push it off, but no matter how much he was letting me push it off, i knew it was still coming. (Aye he was letting me as all when he's serious, no pushing is put up with)
So the conversation came down to this.. (me not having moved)
Master "In the position"
Me "i dont want to Master"
Master "Hows it feel to want"
Me "i dont know, you tell me"
<grins> Which broke out the most coolest smile and laugh on his face.
He's just trying to teach me things. Kind of like when i complain about fairness or WHY he's doing something that seems perfectly logical for ME to do it.. i get "because i'm the Dom and your the Sub" He's reminding me of our roles with out going into a long conversation about our relationship and what we want and yadda yadda yadda and the lines of our relationships. Sometimes i forget my place. Like HUH, why's he got all MY passwords and i havent any of his? He's reminding me that i havent any rights. That he does.
Hows it feel to want? Heh, i ALWAYS GET my way, well atleast i have, through out my life. i'm spoiled like that. He's prolly THE first person on the face of the planet that was able to get away with telling ME no. Heh, i'm known in my family as the one who does "what she wants, when she wants, how she wants" My family KNOWS they cant stop me, i'm gonna do what i'm gonna do. When i feel like it, come hell or high water. "kelly is gonna do what kelly is gonna do" Its a known fact.
Master knows that. He's reminding me that i'm not gonna get my way, and i'm not going to get what i want. Unless he deems it and no matter how i try, unless he deems it i'm not. i suppose i like the saying for that excat reason. Because it IS a strange and new feeling, one that takes adjusting too.
He is simply reminding me when i simply forget.
