i have been mailing things back to scientologists for about 4 years now-someone gave them my exes name a couple of years after he left-and i get more mail from them that is believable.....i write notes telling them i think theyre nuts, i have been nice, i have cussed, i have ignored......

i still get the mail.  one called the other day, and i said oh my a real live scientologist.....we need to talk.......i was very nice to him, and he assured me he would have the name taken off all the lists....time will tell........

and in the background, some gal yelled "thats so fucking awesome!".....i said well im glad yall scientoligists find stuff fucking awesome too-i would find it most fucking awesome if you would forget my address exists.....

in the mean time, i have a pre-paid envelope stuffed full and ready to put in wednesdays mail......

Are you sure you were not speaking to Tom Cruise?

HAHA.

Yup when they prepay return postage I do believe that you could put their envelope on a Mack truck and it will get shipped, and they will get billed.

We have long been sending the junk mail back, in other words, you send the new car people the junk from the refi people and vice versa.

However there is one caveat. The olman, who is a 69 year old fat, stank old fuck, obnoxious as hell, recieved a pair of earrings one day. He had not ordered them, but he did get in the habit of mailing the junk back, as said, get them to pay the postage, and he tries to get it over one ounce too, so it costs them more.

Well this one piece of junk was from a credit card company and there was a barcode on it. Apparently your info is in that barcode, and they charged his credit card, actually the five bucks shipping for the 'free' gift. Shit wasn't worth a dime.

So listen up, I am all for this, but watch those barcodes. And inking them out might not work, tear them off ! If they are gone they are gone. That precious mailing weight can be recovered with sand, other junk mail or anything you might possibly want to put in there.

Incidentally, anybody wanna buy some earrings ?

This would probably only annoy postal workers. Postage paid covers a certain item weight and size I would imagine.[8|]

The bigger issue is that you can no longer drop anything over 13 ounces in the mailbox (it used to be 16 ounces... i can't even imagine what sort of Homeland Security idiocy took the other 3 ounces off)... not sure what happens to stuff that exceeds that, but i can bet it'll be a big pain in the ass if you get caught doing it repeatedly.

Personally, since i have mail pickup but not trash pickup at my house, i stuff the envelopes as full as they'll go with random junk- envelopes from my other mail, candy wrappers, etc., and call it a day. It's all about the low-effort here at davehaus.

I bought 37 reese's cups and made my dad eat them. Then when he was done, they got sent off to Geico, wrappers, cards and the clinging pieces of peanut butter and chocolate. I have done worse though. [:D]
