Happy New Year's Eve E/everyone!

At the close of the year, it's always a time to look back and reflect on the good and the not so good of the past year.  I thought it might be fun to do the same here in O/our little corner of CM.

So, what were the best threads, comments, funny phrases, or quotes from the past year?  Just throw them out there.  What was the best of CM in 2007?

I'll start off with a couple, just to get the ball rolling......


Funniest experience to read:  Diane breaking a certain toy when in use.

Best advice given to submissive males:  littlesarbonn on how to interact/approach Dommes.

Best quote:  boijen..... "Submission isn't someone asking if they can go down on you.  It's asking if they can have permission to clean the catbox."  (I have a special affection for that one, because that's exactly how it turned out.)

I have just been positively impressed by how many high quality submissive men are regular posters to the forum.  [:)]  It definitely gives me hope for my future to know that there are attractive, intelligent, sexy and genuinely submissive men in the world somewhere, even if they don't necessarily live close by.  If they're in New York, New Hampshire or London, they could be anywhere, right?  [:D]

Lots of wonderful posts from other dominant ladies, as well.  I particularly appreciate the women who have contacted me by PM to talk shop and possibly work with me as a photographer with their toys and loved ones.  I've always really treasured my friendships with other dommes.  (Yes, even the ones who don't like the word "domme".  [:D])

just about any thread of Diane's is enjoyable. but that one is definately my favorite. even more funny that it happened again! Sings off key "Opps, I did it again.........." *snickers*

I like the "Whoops" threads, quite a few of those contributed to my spraying the computer with pop or tea.

I will second what ShaktiSama says. I have been really impressed by the maturity, humor, and general sexiness of the submissive men who post here. They prove beyond a doubt that not all the subs online are trolls and wankers!

2007 was my first year hanging out on these forums, and everyone has made me feel very welcome here. Best of 2007? Finding CM and these forums! Thanks to everyone for being a positive point in my turbulent life :)

I first started reading and posting on the forums in late September, but in the short time I have been here, I feel I have made some awesome connections, especially in this forum.
 
I'd have to say, that for me, the best of 2007 have been the Dommes of CM that have twinged my bi side. You know who you are. [;)]

I'd have to add "My Domme thinks she is Wonder Woman" to the list.  Sea was very entertaining with that post and it seems to reappear on a regular basis.

By far my vote is for Diane breaking off a strap on  TWICE in a subs ass!!  LOL  Ranking right up there are a couple of hilarious stories by  SDFemDom4cuck about mishaps that have happened to her while scening ...  LOVE HER!

Aakasha always starts very thought provoking and interesting threads as well..

I went back and quickly scanned through the past year.  Here's a list of threads which I recall as being memorable for one reason or another; either because they were very thought provoking or insightful, or because they facilitated a greater understanding of the lifestyle or communication between the Dommes and subs who participate in this forum.  Here's the short list I quickly came up minus any already mentioned:

I have met so many wonderful people from here online, and in person...

Laughed, screamed, loved, reviled.. the list goes on.

Some here have held my hand while I cried.. and some have made me happy, or pissed as hell. Where else can you go and get that? Other then your family... *smiles*

That would have gotten a definite nod from Me, but the original was actually written in 2006.  The subsequent writings were in 2007, but the original was priceless.

I began de-lurking here this fall and I have found the people of this community to be the most welcoming,  helpful, and supportive I have observed in all my lurking. And I lurked on a.s.b reading Clay Bond on green bar!
