But, they are few and far between for a Dominant of my age and experience, and I have given up on finding one. I am a real person. I want a man who has at least one foot planted firmly in reality. The OP's problem is the opposite of mine. I am dismissed regularly because I am NOT a bitch, not demanding enough, and believe knowing the person as a person comes before the fetish. I won't "dom" someone online or long distance. So, I get lots of brush offs... and that's fine. <smile>

The true situation is, everybody can be anybody online/phone.One of the most powerful things about the mind is you can be what you think you are. But to achieve greatness (or simply improve) you must invest the time to learn and make mistakes, and learn more.. Because the internet is a level playing field, many including myself simply either avoid situations or come VERY HEAVY HANDED.Avoiding does nothing, being harsh causes flame mail (I get ton's). When I was younger I would go to munches to seek out the "grand puba doms" and usually would not see the same persona as they offered online. At the time I was more of a pissing contest alpha dom IDIOT. Always wanting to crush others who claimed to be more than they were.NEVER lost on a face to face meeting. what did it prove, nothing. Just showed I was an idiot looking to crush.and did. FEW, very few are as they say and or think they are. I know my abilities and my inabilities. I am greatful that as I grow older I choose my fights and hope I have grown.

Here's a concept for you. We are all humans that post here and all of us have assholes.
