NHSissyKristal -> Question about music (12/31/2007 11:37:59 PM)

Hi, this is my first post here, so here it goes.   I am a boy trying to find out what its like to be more feminine/girly and I realized that if I started listening to/memorizing more feminine music, it might help.   So my question is; does anyone know what bands or musicians are considered more feminine/girly? Is there anything specific I should try and listen to? What kinds of music do others listen to here?

SubmissiveAK -> RE: Question about music (1/1/2008 2:48:17 AM)

Try listening to Garbage. Songs like "Cherry Lips" are rife with D/s and Feminization overtones

Listening to girly music isnt what being girly is about IMHO. Try thinking about what you really feel identifies as feminine for you. Hey if it is music, well then go for it, but realize girls listen to everything just like everyone else :P

LuckyAlbatross -> RE: Question about music (1/1/2008 4:27:57 AM)

Trying to become more girly by doing "girly things" is a bad way to start.  It's sexist to start with and horrendously stereotypical.

Not that there aren't "girl focused" artists and groups- there's lots of them.  Simply that it has nothing to do with being "a girl" and certainly nothing to do with how you are as "a girl."

windchymes -> RE: Question about music (1/1/2008 6:45:25 AM)

The Spice Girls reunion looks promising.

decstorm37 -> RE: Question about music (1/1/2008 7:02:10 AM)

being a girl is about so much more then music. But if that is what it takes for you i would say listen to soft rock. Lots of "girly" type of emotions going on there. Hope that helps you

KyttynTheMynx -> RE: Question about music (1/1/2008 7:11:42 AM)

Christina Aguilera - What A Girl Wants (and anything else from her first album) Britney Spears' first album.  3LW.  Cheetah Girls lmao...B*witched! Stuff like that...Its all girly girl.  Oh...definitely try Not A Girl (Not Yet A Woman) - Britney Spears

(dont tell anyone I know this stuff.)[:D]

My lips are sealed, KTM !!!   No one in Moosecrotch will ever hear this from me!!!

(giggles wildly at Moosecrotch...  it never ceases to tickle my funnybone)  [:D]

lockmeupplease -> RE: Question about music (1/1/2008 4:32:15 PM)

The #1 act for girls right now is Hannah Montana and I don't think Disney is targeting the cross-dresser/sissy market [8D].

I would listen to and explore music you actually like and seek your feminine side another way.

I had that same reaction about Moosecrotch!  We should start a munch group there....the Moosecrotchmunchers....[:D]

Anyway, back to the OP.....you could rent "West Side Story" and pay close attention to the "I Feel Pretty" scene.  Ditto with "Flower Drum Song" and the "I Enjoy Being A Girl" scene.

Also, listen to the lyrics to "Wishin' and Hopin' ", and another oldie called "Wives and Lovers".

darchChylde -> RE: Question about music (1/1/2008 7:29:11 PM)

Madonna "What it's Like for a Girl" from the Music album

sorry, it's just the most obvious thing to come to mind

Yeah, really. Asking that question just boggles my mind. As if what type of music you listen to determines gender traits...."shakes head".

tempest74 -> RE: Question about music (1/2/2008 10:37:25 AM)

I love John Mayer, and neither of my brothers, nor my Master will go anywhere near my Mayer cds...so that's got to say something.

verysweet -> RE: Question about music (1/2/2008 3:03:17 PM)

"What It Feels Like For A Girl"

Madonna

Makarov -> RE: Question about music (1/2/2008 9:21:00 PM)

I agree with everything said so far in regards to music not being a necessary trait to describe feminine styling.  I've met girls that listen to metal for one thing.

That said, only girls like, "The Notebook" and "A Walk to Remember".  Either that or few guys would admit liking either movie.

possessedone -> RE: Question about music (1/3/2008 2:25:47 PM)

i am a slave but my favorite music is usually not considered too girly at all.....in fact i got all wet and excited when Rage Against the Machine got back together.

seeksfemslave -> RE: Question about music (1/3/2008 3:47:09 PM)

Hello Kristal: you sound like a nice boy to me so my advice is put on a pair of panties and heels and take whats coming to you.
Big kisses to you.

Umm... "You make me feel like a natural woman" or "Any man of mine"?

I really don't know. I listen to a lot of country, mostly female singers. They make me feel sassy and sexy so you can give it a shot.
