Since I'm Russian I have a lot of body hair. For New Years, I got a lot of very nice gifts from my parents, but the best gift ever was this Braun Silk-Epil Xelle doo-dad that tweezes every mother-loving follicle from your body.

Before you have an Americanized heart-attack, let me review it for you! Epilators have been around since the 70s, but they sucked and hurt. It still hurts, but unless you want to shave your thick black hair every other day or spend lots of hard-earned capitalist dollars on waxing, you'll get over it. Epilators are extremely popular in Europe and are often advertised and are fairly expensive.

Pros: This epilator is really great because it comes with a cord, so no batteries and it comes with two types of heads for starters/beginners and for experienced/masochist folk. It has a very bright LED light that lets you see (unfortunately) how hairy you really are and then lets you pull that sin right out of you! It also comes with a gel pack (you'll need it) and a sleeve to cool down the little bumps you'll get using it the first time around.

Yes, it is painful, but it's no more painful than anything else a woman has to go through. After epilating, the hair does not come back for atleast 4 weeks! When it does grow back, it's thinner and finer. After a few uses, there will be very little to no pain because the hair follicles are failing. In fact, they'll eventually fail enough that the hair will stop growing. YES!

This epilator is much better than waxing/shaving/depilitory creams because it does not touch your skin! If you have dry and sensitive skin like I do, any sort of hot wax, shaving burns and depilitory lye chemicals make your skin horrid! This just yanks the hair out.

After a while, it even becomes pleasant! I must say I'm getting addicted to it.

Don't try using it under your arms unless you really wanna love yourself after. It took me 20 minutes to get one armpit done. It hurt, but I liked it at the same time. Call me weird. I am weird. I don't care what you think. Fuck you.

Cons: It hurts, but you'll get over it, pussy. And it's loud. This baby does hit some high RPMs with it's 40 tweezing heads.

In Conclusion: Ladies, sit down on the couch, turn the TV on, make a strong cocktail and get to yanking. You won't have to bother with hairy shit for a week. I even used it on my ass, a place that I was always afraid to shave the peach fuzz off because I was afraid it'd grow back as Robin Williams hair.

You'll be smooth for 4 weeks, the pain eventually goes away and the hair eventually stops trying to grow!

It's not for everyone, agreed. But if you don't want to hurt your skin and work on it every week, I'd recommend the Braun. Besides, back in the day doctors used to "heal" people by bleeding them. Traumatizing, but we've improved and we haven't stopped going to doctors. K. Marx wrote a lot about how important technology is for progress!

Yowzers, just hand me a beard trimmer.

Do y'all wonder if the pendulum will ever swing back to the fuzzy mode like the '70s porn star exhibited?

Okay...when your parents give you an Epilady...you got some hair.

(I'm actually thinking to myself, having seen your photo...which appears to be of a very cute little tiny girly girl...that I don't want to know in a public forum...that you have some Redwoods "down below").

Ahhhh...so with an LED and a nice set of heads....you're rocking and rolling. Gel pack...for all those nights when your neighbors are listening to "TIIIIMBEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRR".

YES!

(Well, of course...you've killed them).

A Rooskie true and true...yank 'em out...(for the Motherland)!

Don't try using it under your arms unless you really wanna love yourself after. It took me 20 minutes to get one armpit done (okay...this is scaring me). It hurt, but I liked it at the same time. Call me weird. I am weird (You're weird...okay fine...I said it). I don't care what you think. Fuck you. (You'll never go back to dog...I'll tell you right now).

Cons: It hurts, but you'll get over it, pussy (It's your pussy...I don't have one...{although, I will say at the outset}...I'd have no problem if there was one on my bed in about 45 minutes). And it's loud (You have a loud pussy?). This baby does hit some high RPMs with it's 40 tweezing heads (Why the hell are you tweezing heads at your age...and furthermore...what the fuck does that actually mean?).

(I'm actually at a loss for words on this one).

You'll be smooth for 4 weeks, the pain eventually goes away and the hair eventually stops trying to grow!

(I was actually thinking the exact same thing....thanks for mentioning it...I'm squigged now..I may never be the same).

I have one and I use it everywhere. You get used to it after awhile and it does not hurt as much. Besides I hate stubble and waxing takes to damn long so the epliator is the way to.
