ok, say you are with your significant other and enjoying a bit of canoodling and one of your creatures are in the room, do you notice any odd behaviour from the animal?

Odd? Maybe. The ancient feline will hop onto my lap no matter what position I am in  and the dog tends to get very close and just stare  with a quizzical expression on her face.

Anytime that I am talking on the phone, have someone over, or I am reading; Miss Kitters decides that she needs attention.  It's not odd; she is just a little Diva.  She makes up for her demanding ways by leaving me little gifts.  Two days ago, there was a lovely, decapitated chipmunk on the hood of my truck.

Gracious gets a decidedly miffed look on her face (damn..the stupid humans are at it again!) and leaves the room.  Amos examines by putting her face as close as she can to the action.

(they're both Cats)

Bingo IS the center of attention.   I can't even sit on the couch beside a babe without him forcing his way between us.   It's the same in the bedroom, but he also has a passion for licking bare bottoms so out the door he goes.

Then I wouldn't get to see the look on a new playmate's face when Bingo does a drive by licking.

Now if bingo was a lizard and crawled in bed under the blanket on to her...what would happen? LOL

I woud jump out the window screaming like a little girl.   (She is on her own to get untied.)

One of my cats runs away and hides in the closet until everything is over, his brother goes and sits in the window, but may come in when the fun is over, and the oldest one usually just hops up on the pillow on the bed and actually falls asleep......I've told him he's too young to see that sort of thing, but he could care less...it's HIS house, he's just giving me permission to be there...and if he had opposible thumbs, he'd probably kick my ass out on the street!

Shutting the door does no good....he will either literally rip the carpet off the floor, or stick his paw under the door and yank on it......it's tough to concentrate on what's happening when it sounds like the SWAT team is trying to rip the door off!  He absolutely HATES closed doors......he's actually learned how to open them.  It's a lot less hassle and interruption if I just leave it open.

I bet you wouldn't be so pleased if your playmate enjoyed the drive by licking lol.

Bingo has only pulled off 2 or 3 drive bys and they have been met with suprise followed by playful humor.......and Mr. Mischief getting escorted out of the bedroom.   (Fortunately, I have not risen to THAT level of mischief but I am trying me best.)

All of my pets get jealous when my attention is not fully on them. And yes, closing a door is required at certain times.
