Sometimes I get an idea about something I want to do, and I really get focused on some of the sensual/erotic aspects of it, but I don't figure out the logistics around it. This is a bit far fetched, and probably still a long way in my future, but if I don't do it, I want to at least write about it (or plan it to the letter; sometimes planning is half the fun). I think some more analytical thinkers can work this one out better than I can. I want to develop a scenario where two men are bound (with rope, probably, but maybe something else) and must work together in order to get free. To add to the challenge, one of them would be blindfolded, and the other one gagged, so they can communicate, but not very effectively. The challenge that I have is that I want to make their escape contingent on the ability to communicate with one another, so that the whole blindfolded vs. gagged aspect is actually impactful. If this sounds like something out of a bad superhero movie, well, it probably is, that's where I often get some of my more abstract fantasies. Any ideas on how to create this challenge in a way that one being able to see vs. one being able to talk would make them have to work together in order to get away, vs. just kind of randomly trying to get loose? i would think you would have to use some sort of locking mechanism, instead of merely knots and buckles. In such a situation, i would say you would need to place the key in a position that it could not be retrieved by simply one person. Perhaps something to do with it being 7-9 feet high and the two men had to do a back-to-back synchronized crabwalk up opposite hallway (or any narrow area) walls that are 3-4 feet across might work..

Maybe a combination lock and only the gagged person knows the code?? They would have to develop a system for the gagged sub to get the blindfolded one to stop on the right numbers.

No offense but that idea is kind of silly....if he is gagged he isn't blind folded...he won't care if he can't say it, he'll see the lock to be able to unlock it.

I do think it is a clever idea over all to do team work however it would probably be very hard to pull off as no matter what limitations you put on one person you have to put on both or else as soon as person A is guided to free person B, they are both free in a matter of seconds. If you get two males who work well together your game will last maybe 5 minutes. Unless you make it a whole obstical course where they maybe have hindrances, such as one is handcuffed and one has leg irons, and plenty of physical obsticals that they have to cross using team work. suddenly hopes Aerith never designs such a thing on the island

My alternative thought would be binding with a variety of ties that end in front of say each sub's waist- where each sub has one (Oppposing) arm completely free and all senses available. The 'one' that sights the knot in front of them directs the other's hand movements to jointly untie the knot. The first knots you place (last to be undone) would be on both their sides where vision would then become a very frustrating situation but their teamwork should have been developed by then. Akasha Ummmm....remind me, exactly what's my motivation to escape from you? [:D] Next, are the subjects bound together face-to-face or back-to-back? If this were a story, I'd have the blindfolded sub tell the gagged sub to signal "yes" or "no" to my questions with two grunts [no] or three [yes]. That will alllow for the limited communication you desire. Or, if they both know morse code, they could dot-and-dash each other all night. However, in a real-life scenario, you can't count on that happening. If the gagged sub gets the idea instead of the blindfolded one, he'll have no way of communicating the communication plan to the other. You are going to have to build in a weakness in the bondage that they can eventually exploit. A key "accidentally" left on the floor, or a knot that the blindfolded one can get loose with his mouth are my only brainstorms.... ...probably because I still haven't figured out my motivation. Have you thought of once they're bound with ropes of adding a bit of duct tape around it? It is possible to escape from it, it just takes more time, effort, and grunting.

You took that idea from "Saw IV" where one guy had his mouth stitched close and one his eye stiched closed and they had to free themselves but didnt turn out too well since they had weapons.

I actually have not seen Saw IV or any Saw -- I am a HUGE wuss when it comes to horror films, so I haven't seen hostel either. But I have to admit the idea presented that way (mouth stitched closed? yikes) kind of makes me feel a little queasy. I am not into gore like that. The other thing, to be honest, about this "scenario" is that I consider both blindfolds and gags to be incredibly sexy. So, it's also a visual thing. I can't switch the manner in which they are restrained (ie, stitches, yikes) and still have the same impact. I can share the very first time this kind of became an inkling of a fantasy of mine, if I can dig it up, but I had not added the gag/blinfold part. But I wrote it as a story many years ago. Akasha

They key is either hidden somewhere in the room and the gagged sub knows where and has to communicate this to the blindfolded sub and try and navigate him somehow? Or perhaps, like someone else suggested, there is a combination lock, out of reach of the gagged sub's hands. Perhaps the combination to the lock is written somewhere in the room and they have to find it before the sun sets and it gets too dark to read it. Once they've found it (if they do, of course) the gagged sub then has to somehow give the code to the blindfolded sub... of course, the blindfolded sub, being blindfolded, can't actually see the numbers on the lock... ahhh... it's all very tricky. This whole thing is very Saw, lol.

i think that locks are really the only way to go with this one. What about having both men gagged, and one blindfolded as well, but the sight-enabled one is wearing bondage mittens? That way, they both have to figure out how to communicate non-verbally, and the sightless one still has something to offer. Then the combination lock would work, or perhaps having to go through a collection of keys strewn around the room to find the one that will release them. One gagged man trying to communicate a combination to another gagged man, without using his hands, would have to be good for a laugh. The restraint options are plentiful... being tied back-to-back, with each limb locked to one of the limbs on the other sub, seems the most obvious (and of course, the linked ball stretchers). Or in a close embrace, if you want to do the forced-bi angle. If one of them is fairly strong, perhaps a forced piggy-back setup could be arranged, with the "piggy" being the one blindfolded. i think duct tape mummification would probably be the way to go for this, with, say, a combination lock securing a pair of safety scissors that they could use to get loose. Lots of trust required there, along with communication. Or, again with the forced contact, you could return to the single-gag idea... one is gagged and bound standing up, secured by padlocked restraints... the key to one of the locks is caught inside a "gates of hell" he's wearing... The blindfolded, un-gagged one has his hands bound behind him in mittens, and must get the key loose (of course, he starts out not knowing where it is), then get guided to the appropriate lock. As far as having things out of reach, the sighted one could be tied on the floor in a ball-tie, or stocks, with the other free to stand... a key, or combinations printed out large and taped to the wall, would be visible to the sighted one, but he has to communicate to the blind one what to do or where to go. Whichever way you go with it, painful encouragement could be provided on an "every X minutes you're still stuck" basis to keep them on-track, or some other sort of increasingly uncomfortable stimulation... i tend to think that the whole scene would benefit from a sense of urgency. Ahhh, bondage logistics... [:)]

I once recreated a similar fantasy...I took two women and plugged their ears and tied them up...between them was a lock and the key was taped under the tit of one of the subs....They just went yammering on for three straight days without realizing that the other one couldn't hear a word that was being said...They finally died from dehydration. I learned little knowledge from the experiment that I hadn't acquired when I was in grade school. So sad.

shackles, chains work best. Blind guy has a large set of keys that open locked boxes you have placed in the area. First key to first box is duct taped to gagged males gag. Blind male has to take direction from gagged male on how to get to the next box, open the box and retrieve key to unlock one of the keys holding them together and so on... they would need to be locked back to back... perhaps a humiliating male kiss should take place in order to retrieve the first key ;) if they are able to communicate or realize the where the first key is... Perhaps a riddle...
