Status: offline 		I read a profile, won't name any names, but it said;
"Seeking only online,no cam,etc. no limits so far."

Now I find that to be an amazing coincedence.
I am a Dom, but "online" I don't have any limits either!
I will suck the dick of a dead, bloated, festering, magot covered Donkey, while you fuck me in the ass with a 1972 Buick Skylark. and drive 10 penny nails through my testicles!

Now I would never let you do that to me in real life but online I can do anything!

Does anyone else find this funny as hell?

Just re-read that.  No-cam.  Isn't that a limit?

As for the OP's question - some people use the internet as an escape, a fantasy land where they don't have to think about real life or reality.... it's an indulgence of sorts.  That's their kink and they have just as much right to it as anyone has to anything.

Crimes are committed all of the time.  They hit the headlines...BDSM...did this or that.  In the end those people weren't lifestyle at all. 
For instance the Virginia Tech murder a year or two ago.  The goth guy killed his girlfriend.  The cops said he was lifestyle because they found vibratorsin his  house when they searched.
Because you have a vibrator and dress all in black does not make you lifestyle.  So, they give us plenty of attention and none of it good.
Not everyone of them do but some do.
