I have a good friend who's been a slave for many years. She recently emailed me to ask for some book recommendations to help her in her desire to be a femdom. I have come up with a few, but I want to recommend some good ones that deal with domination from the female side.

The Loving Dominant and Different Loving are two fantastic books for understanding the psychology of domination and submission.  Though no book would be as good as finding a domme she respects and serving under her as an apprentice.

Thanks, Taggard; and I believe in time she will work with a Domme as well. Right now she wants to read as much as she can before taking that step.

That is never a bad idea...just don't let her get caught up in the fiction of the lifestyle.  With BDSM, the written word and the physical acts are about as far apart as in any activity I have tried.  (Maybe with the exception of Ballroom dancing, where books are completly useless.)

This is one lady I would be floored to see get caught up in fiction in the lifestyle. She's been a slave for a number of years and is a very heavy masochist as well. She attends parties and events as much as she's able to and very much has her head on straight. She's also well liked and well thought of by many locally.

Then what does she need the books for?  She knows the drill...knows what she wants...just have her do to some bottom what she likes having done to herself.  It really isn't rocket surgery.

She wants to read from that perspective. She's talking more domination than topping which is why she wants to read on it. The topping aspect isn't her focus right now, the mental aspects, the control, the domination, are.
