Okay, heres your objective.

Bread, I need it stale, and rapidly, and it still needs to be edible so no using toxic substances.

Begin.

Put it in the oven rack at the lowest heat to get that nice dry, crumbly texture. Make it taste yucky by putting it into a plastic bag with cut up veggies and maybe an apple and banana to absorb the odd flavors. That'll give it the authentic nasty taste.

good luck... lmao

I can't claim to be a science or chemistry geek, but if you need stale bread for cooking, just line up bread slices or cubes (or whatever it is you need) on a baking sheet and bake it for around 45 minutes at a low temperature (200 degrees or so), and that will dry it out.  You can try raising the temperature some to do it faster, but if you don't keep an eye on it, you might end up with toast.

cubed on baking sheet, then in oven at 300-325 for 15 -20 mins. Stir occasionally.

Lean cuisines...

Okay I've never actually offered this to anyone like this before but you need me to cook for you or something?

Nothing really behind it but hearing people talking about just eating lean cuisine brings out that spainish-italian mamma that raised me and I gotta make sure theyre actually fed.
