I enjoyed The Fashionistas the one time I watched it. I haven't seen either of the SAFADO releases.

Check out the AVN Awards. Those are the Adult industry's equivalent of the Oscars, and under Specialty awards there are some fetish categories: best BDSM release, best spanking release, best femdom strapon release, best foot fetish release etc. I'd guess those nominees and prior years' winners would be high quality BDSM porn.

Michael and I watched the Fashionista's while he was here (well, we tried to anyway LOL).. I liked it alot...
I also LOVE the kink.com movies, especially sexandsubmission.com.. OMG! I highly recommend any movie with Mark Davis in it. Six hours can go by in a blink of an eye for me.

IF I were to produce a sexually oriented TV program...

I think I'd take a cue from the Travel and History channels, and take a small crew around to various sexual "hot spots" around the country, and perhaps tape scenes of volunteer couples doing actual play, only watching the lighting, and getting some good sound. Why would doing something like this be so damned difficult? I used to watch frineds do video podcasting from the old "Labyrinth" in Denver... and they seemed to find an audiance.

Part of the reason they don't do hardcore sex and bondage together is that there's the difficulty in proving that all the participants were consenting. Which is odd to me, you don't see actors and actresses taking the studios to court over rape scenes in mainstream flicks playing down at the multiplex. I mean, what would you have to do to defuse this sort of thing? Make your end credits up out of bloopers and mistakes, just to prove it was all "make believe?"

I don't know if this is true but I've been told that film portrayals of sex that include any type of bondage or s/m constitute sexual assault and are thus not legal to put into porn. This might explain why I've never seen bondage porn that actually does involve sex and the edgier stuff (like insex) has gone out of business.

DominaSmartass, its why they wont allow BDSM movies thru Canada Customs, or thats the official version

I get my kicks from re runs of the xfiles and mulder in bondage(specally the chicken wire over him, where they put the black oil into his eyes oh my)
