What is more important is that a slave be strong and healthy, and to achieve that eat a well balanced diet and exercise regularly.

If eating dog food is what the slave wanted, then how am I forcing it upon him or making him eat it? I am only giving him what he wants. A treat for being a good pup? No, I decide what treats are to be eaten, not my pup (slave).

Status: offline 		I would not personally make anyone eat dog food.  Even if they wanted to. 

Therefore, if one is of the mindset that they need to eat dog food to feel properly fulfilled (or humiliated), I am not the lady for them.

What would make more sense to me is if I discovered them secretly eating it when no one was around, and hiding it from me.  Think about it.

On a plain old health level, a high quality dog food would not harm a human. With that understanding my answer is yes, I would.

Status: offline 		I havent had one eat dog food but I've had many eat from the dog dish on their hands and knees.It would depend on the situation but i can think of some that I would do just that.

Status: offline 		Don't tell anyone this, but I used to eat dog food (dry) when I was little.  I didn't like cat food as it seemed to have too much iron or something.  I don't know why... >^_^<

Status: offline 		If it's a fetish that he/she has, then eating dog food, high quality as someone pointed out, could be used as a reward or a treat. I mean, I think we've all heard of the poor old lady who lives on cat food, I just don't think she lives very long or very healthy on it.

Just as I wouldn't serve an animal pet human food regularly, I wouldn't serve a human pet or slave non-human food regularly.

In fact, I'm very likely to be as I am now and cook or have them cook with high fiber and an attempt at a balanced diet no matter how much they grumble. They can eat junk food using their own money and time not mine unless it's junk food I want.

This is another one of those fantasy vs mental illness questions

If it was a hot fantasy, I would do it as a mind f*ck

eg buy a can of dog food, secretly replace the contents with smelly human food (canned stewed beef mixed with chunks of spam and water) and dish it up.  Then sit with a big smirk on my face and wait to see how long it takes Fantasy Boy to cave in and safe word.  I win again!!!!!

But if he had a genuine fetish for eating pet food, I would not play with him at all until he saw a doctor and got medical clearance (which isn't going to happen!).  I carefully avoid people with self destructive and unhealthy behaviour

Status: offline 		Again, as so many pointed out before me, it is not about what the slave wants (unless it's a treat and they really, really deserve it.)  If you want it so badly, go ahead and eat it on your own...but as for MY slaves, I would never give them canned pet-food...though making home-made pet food can be quite nutritious and healthy for humans, too.

The idea that "it is not about what the slave wants".

If all the slave really wants is to please his Dominant, are you going to deny him because "its not about what the slave wants"?  Of course not.

Are you only going to make a slave do things they do not want to do (ie without consent).  Of course not.  That is abuse.

A D/s couple has to find common ground they both want and both enjoy.  In my humble opinion, the idea that "a twue Mistress never does what the slave wants" is a non-consensual fantasy.  Every D/s couple (casual or loving, sexual or non-sexual) needs to find some compatible kinks.

The way I read the OP's question, if the slave wants to be made to eat dog food, how many Dominants want to make him eat it (in other words, how likely is it a slave can find a Mistress with a compatible kink......possible/impossible?).
