Trying your best is all we can do, so hang in there. I apologize for my snarky comment, also.

As for your question: No, I wouldn't cause a submissive in pain, further pain.

Eapecially if she has an attractive friend who is currently "cramp-free." I think this has to be viewed in the context of the Miss America pageant....If you are unable to perform your subly duties then the "runner-up" should step in to complete that which you are incapable of.

It sucks. Make sure that the "runner up" is not more interesting than yourself or you will soon find yourself looking in from the outside.

Level hates people with disabilities. He once drove a slave from Arkansas with a hairlip off of this site....Pay him no mind.

I really can't see myself causing my sub more pain by aggravating or using an existing medical condition. I would be suprised at anyone who didn't consider that a hard limit. After all, If the sub tripped and broke her arm, it would be heinous to manipulate the break to punish her or cause pain. At its essence what you are describing is a similar thing.

OMFG!  "I am on Erin (a birth control medicine)"  Haha, sorry, my name is erin, and for women I am a birth control medicine so I think that is VERY awesome! hehehe, wow.  I also have maybe a period a year, not sure why, not on birth control, but it tends to throw females I am aroud a lot off...HAHA the very sexy xxblushesxx is *on* me...hows it feel up there?
Ok sorry guys, I know thats way off topic, to the OP, see a doctor, I really hope that your master isnt trying to cause more pain by having sex with you during the cramps, when I do have a period (which is almost never) I end up in the hospital from the pain of the cramps, it is just unreal!

I think it's really up to you to find the right person.  It really depends on what their situation was, whether what I would do would make it worse or not (you said it doesn't help but didn't mention if it made it worse) and what other options.

For me, I'd most likely work on teaching you to cope and improve over the long term- and have other people I could enjoy during times you were unavailable.

take care of her

Are you an adult woman?  Do you actually expect a man to take care of you when you have your period?  I would never ask a man to take care of me because I was on my period or had cramps.  I take some naproxen sodium, drink some caffeine and hope for the best.  It's only a few days of semi-hell, it's not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things.

I'll tell you what.  When I first started my periods the school nurse sent me home on a regular basis for 6 months because I had cramps and threw up.  I think I know what killer cramps are.  I chose to deal with it and not focus on it.  I agree that I don't feel your pain.  I still think you are better served to find ways to deal with them without depending on a man to take care of you.

i was recently released from my Master after only 3 months. i went there for training and things were going well. then, all of a sudden, i was complete. he was extremely proud of me and i am his favorite slave. okay, my question is...

WTF?????  i wanted a good dose of the lifestyle, YES, and I got it, YES. is this all? am i now to just think that its bullshit?  i have so many mixed up feelings right now and i've never felt so lost and confused. does it ever get better?

This thread has gone all over so I will respond to this portion.  He was through with the relationship with you and felt you didn't deserve an answer or explanation.  I guess a very easy way if you can do it.  Understand what you are getting inot prior to developing  relationship.  Was his interest only to train you?  If so, I can't believe you could be completely trained in such a short time.  Sounds like crap.  maybe he had another sub he wanted and you were in his way.

As to the original question.

If you don't like the situation, not happy with the pain he is causing you and you have explained it to him.  Remove the gift of your submission to him.  Maybe compatibilty is a bigger issue on the pain limits.

What a powerful sentiment

misub, maybe you need a new doctor, maybe you need a D&C, but i think definitely you should sit down with your dom and express your feelings, it is probably hard for him to understand the whole cramp thing and what it can do to a female.

I have previously suffered from horrible cramps that have left me curled up in a ball with hot and cold flashes and severe nausea. Over the past few months I've been working out a lot more, and it seems to help even more when Im on my period. I don't expect to be taken care of because im in a LDR to begin with, but either way I found my 'cure' for my cramps to where sexual activity is tolerable.

While I'm a man, I certainly empathize with you, 33. I would derive no satisfaction whatsoever from fucking anyone in that much medically caused pain. Domination involves mutual satisfaction, it's not a one-way street.

There is good pain and bad pain.

Go to planned parenthood. (while I don't believe in a major part of their philosophy, they do help women who can't afford to go to a doctor for birth control pills, pap smears, etc.) They work on a sliding fee scale, so you wouldn't pay more than you can afford. (if anything)
I think you'd be a lot happier.

Thank you Zara (Erin) for your kind words. And it feels GREAT btw...*lol*

I hope I clicked on the right button.  This is particularly to old Bastardly1.  I think that that is an out and out rude statement.  I have 2 sons with severe learning disabilities.  They are extremely bright, but putting a clear sentence down is very difficult for both of them.  To clarify, it is not at all a matter of spell check; it is a matter of how language is processed in their brains.  Stop and think before you judge.

Sorry, i know you asked this question of the Dominants but in my opinion, sexual service is not about what makes the slave feel better or how it helps the submissive, it is about sexual service to the Dominant or Master.  If it is really bad, you should negotiate no sex during your period including the 3 days leading up to it.  That would be the best way to handle it, so there is clear communication ahead of time.

Also, please speak with your GYN about this problem and perhaps she or he can recommend something to help you.  Periods are not an illness, although i do know that some women suffer horribly during this time.  Talk to your doctor.
I felt this reply to be the most informative and realistic....good job eyes!..Tempting

No I would not fuck you if you were in that much severe pain.  My ex had cramps like you are experiencing and it was hell for her.  Doctors never could figure out what was wrong.  I did have her orgasm other ways and that helped relieve the pain temporarily.
