First, a salute to a fellow health care provider.
Because of alI the surgery I have assisted in (after being a lab tech I got promoted to OR assist) I am apathetic to a degree in that I don’t get “shock value” or “taboo” sensations from bloodsport. However, I can be empathetic enough with my partner in a symbiotic connection that builds my passion through interaction.
I have performed many medical scenes, even mock surgery using Trilene gas as an anesthetic and it is my partners enthusiasm that helps put spark into it for me. I am not sure how quick knife play is because time stops for me when I amcarefully using deadly or disfiguring gear. However, with the needles and all, the scene in that pic (above reply) was about 30 minutes long. I guess with restraints, teasing and foreplay, a knife play scene can be as long as any other scene even though the actual cutting part doesn’t really take that long.
I'm not trying to sell you on bloodsport, just sharing the avenues I have found that made it appealing to me should you care to explore.
