I have found a sub on here, we are growing close. But I have not collared her. I do not want her to call me master or my lord until after I collar her, but she would like something that means more than sir. Does anyone have any recommendations.

It should be something that the two of you can relate too, something imiginiative, something you two can share. Only you two can figure that out, but I refer to one of my very good friends Lady Payne, as Lady Payne in the Ass.....for example.

Any title could work here, Duke, Lord, "Monsier," Sire, Liege, Honor, King...whatever. I know one slave who calls him "MasterMuffin" and it works great for them.

A good question to ask though- is it the word that she wants or the relationship?

Friend of ours who is an owned sub, always refers to me as "That damned Bear", copying my wife at times.. It works for me too....

Well if you are training her to be yours by collar, how about having her call you "My Teacher" or something along those lines in translation.

I have a name for my dom. It came as he earned my respect and love. A term of endearment. Just let it flow naturally rather than choosing a name that feels uncomfortable to one or more parties.

ok i have to chime in on this. Sir or Master is a term that carries alot of weight with me. So when Master and i first started talking i called him by his first name. Then as we grew closer, more affectionate terms grew. I do remember Grand Poobah being one of them. (runs and hides), although if i were to call him that now...ohhhh..that wouldn't be wise. I have to agree with sub4hire and just let the relationship grow, and allow her to get comfy. Good luck.

A good friend calls her Dom/husband Mr.C...The C is his first name initial..I know quite a few that don't want to be called Master.. To them, that is an earned title and they don't feel that they have the right to use it as of yet..Master is slinged around like everyone should have it..Only those that have earned it by their deeds and work..That is the way it was explained to me by Grand Mistress Kay of Atlanta and TN..I could have left out a bit here and there..but that is the jest of it..

Respectfully,
sultry

Have her choose a name that shows respect and feels right to both of you. That may not happen today or tomorrow. In the meantime just use 'Sir' (with respect).

My last sub wasn't allowed to call me anything until I collared her. I made her stand and wait to be noticed before she could speak. This was fun sometimes because I could make her wait a long time to speak.

You say you found making her wait to be fun. Did you also find it effective as part of her training?

this girl called her Master M'Lord when he first found me and that lasted til he collared me and then Master felt right. Though this gilr has heard other slaves call their Masters " Daddy" which worked for them.

i wanted to thank Everyone for their insightful and thoughtful replies.....

i am the sub he is refering to (blushes)....

i want to call Him something more than just Sir, Teacher, and such... but not as private as Master..... and i kinda want it to be something i can call Him in public without embarrasing Him or anything.....

i do liek medieval terms, but M'lord is too private... Count comes to mind... but others are escaping my mind.....

i shall know His name once is escapes my lips, but my brain isn't being too cooperative at the moment.....

Thank you all for your replies.
They were all, great ideas. She pleasently surprised me the other day with Sire, and I liked it.
All of your replies are appreciated.
