It seems to me, that if I were to chose one or the other, I'd take "wet." Mostly because "wet" will almost always lead to "happy/content."

Wonderfully stated!  There's so much more depth to Master being content and truly pleased with me.  Whether or not His cock is hard at the moment is irrelevant (although it's great when it is[;)]).  As you stated, that comes and goes (no pun intended) but genuine happiness and contentment are much more longlasting and satisfying.  One of these days, He will be much older and perhaps He won't be able to physically respond with erections.  However, He can always be happy and content and pleased with His property.  I'll take that over "hard" anyday[:)].  You can purchase a fake penis.  You can't purchase contentment...............luci

I would actually say wet because for me it usually does lead to happy and content, and it makes me proud of myself and pleased with myself. My personality can make him happy and content but I want my submission to make him aroused.

While I hate to say it, I'd prefer that my submission makes my Domme wet. Having my pain or suffering enjoyed on such a primal level makes it exciting, and reaches through my walls in a way that simply pleasing doesn't. There's also no mistaking when you've done well this way heh.
