I agree that now this could actually be in OTD, but it's too late now. I don't see a big problem with this. First of all the kid is 19, he should be buying his own damn car, then he can have whatever he wants in it. It was obviously in her name and therefore she has some responsibility. If the kid drinks and drives and gets into a wreck, some insurance companies will refuse to pay. With the car in her name, and if her name is on the deed to the house, it is at risk. That is true whether he is 19 or 91. And there is one other thing, the kid lied. Guaranteed. No passenger would leave their booze in the kid's car, that shit costs money, and is supposed to be hard to get for those in that age bracket, isn't the legal drinking age 21 there ? The booze was his, if it were anyone else's they would've taken it with them. "No Ma, people are always doing that, bribe someone older to buy them booze and then leaving it in my car dammit !". Yeah right. T
