Many of you already know that I recently gave birth to my second child. After the birth of my first child, I simply did not play at all for a very long time. There were a lot of other post partum complications too.

In any case, this time I'm ready to jump back in the pool ASAP, but I'm trying to be realistic and adjust my limits. For those of you who have never been pregnant, there is a recommended period of 6 weeks before resuming sexual activity or exercise of any sort. . .so I'll be waiting those six weeks and nobody needs to remind me about what the doctors say to do in that regard.

But even after the six weeks is up, there are still some new limits I'm setting until I feel 100% recovered, like:

- No nipple torture or breast bondage (I'm breastfeeding)
- No pussy impact play
- No forced intercourse/excessive intercourse

So what I was wondering is whether any of the ladies here could share some of their postpartum lifestyle advice with me. What kind of adjustments did you have to make to your activities until you were fully recovered? Any breastfeeding specific recommendations?

I'm interested in responses from both Dommes and female subs, since I switch and need to know both sides. Most of the limits I can think of are simply things I can't do as a sub, so I'd be *really* interested to hear from some of the Dommes out there how they had to adjust after childbirth.

(Sorry wankers, this is a serious boring thread without much potential for wank material. . .move along.)

I've never had children (and won't ever have bio children), but, being bipolar, I'm sensitive to the psychological and emotional things that can occur for post partum women. I'd opt for more or more meaningful aftercare if you're prone to post partum depression or depression in general.

Congratulations on the new baby!

luna is actually in pre-labor right this very second with baby #4 and its been a hard road with alot of complications.  luna learned with her last baby that if you go to a chiropractor who also does massage you can have a type of  massage called deep tissue massage.  This allows the dr to do a deep massage to your abdomen causing the uterus to contract and expel material faster.  luna's postpardm "period" with #2 lasted 6 weeks, but with #3 and my chiro it was only 2 weeks.

the biggest tip luna can give you is once you do re-engage in intercourse use ALOT of lube!!!! it can take MONTHS for you to get back into the "slippery" of things on your own.

as for tips - too many could get your thread pulled, but if you want you can cmail me and luna will share if you wish

I wasnt in the lifestyle per se after having my 4 but the guidlines you have set seem realistic, but also bear in mind you will be very tired so keep in mind stamina may not be what  it was, and your hormones will be way outta whack for quite some time so things you enjoyed before might not seem so ok if that makes sense.

And congrats to you

I wasn't submissive while breastfeeding, but one thing that did come to mind is the time it takes to breastfeed - usually every 2-3 hours, and sometimes 45 mins for a feeding ... so your time won't be your own for quite some time.  I'm not sure if you nursed in the past, but this can be very draining indeed.  Plus the lack of sleep when waking in the night, etc.  Just be sure to nap while the baby naps, if at all possible.  It will help you get back to yourself much faster.

I was disaappointed when my 3rd gave up nursing at 8 months on her own - I loved the enforced relaxation time!  Nope, couldn't do the dishes or laundry - had to nurse!  Give me a big glass of water and the remote and we were a happy mom/baby.

Good luck to you!
