I've never encountered that either and I'm kinda noisy. If you repeatedly interupt someone else's scene with your noise I can understand being asked to quiet down though. Thanks for posting this thread i find it interesting. I would like to go to a club just to see what it is all about. Knowing me i would be glued to Masters side. He would not play with me there he likes to play in private i have to admit though i am curious but i like private play also. Matt's littleone

I love playing in public. I'm such an exhibitionist, as is my Dom. We've done D/s at swing clubs as well. (You can have sex at the private swing clubs in New York, but the public BDSM clubs are strictly sex free. Boo hiss! There's a private party in NYC called ddeviousdelights that combines both swing and BDSM.) It depends on the swing club how accepted D/s play is but we've kinda just done it and at one there's usually an appreciative audience.

But it does seem that some women; particularly Domme women and lesbians in my experience, (but that may be only anecdotal), don't like to see dangling or (particularly) erect cocks. But very few men or women will object to a naked woman under any circumstances. Ditto the '21' bar, it is just the promoter trying to make sure he gives the authorities no grounds at all to revoke his license or raid the place; which given the plethora of levels of law-making in the USA particularly, County Statutes, State Laws, Federal Laws, licensing regulations, zooning laws ,,, and hysteria about 'protecting kids' is understandable.

Remember that just because it's a play party not every one there accepts you. I've gottent he most flack over calling my partner daddy by kinky people. Not all clubs forbid sex...the one I go to allows intercourse, but prefers it be within the context of a scene, so it doesn't take on the aura of a swing club. Drugs and anything having to do with exchange of cash is always a hard taboo for legal reasons. Even in the relaxed legal and cultural environment of Los Angeles, BDSM and swing clubs are always at the margins of society and subject to a scandal mongering jihadist.

Also here "artificial genitalia" are against the law. You can get around this law by signing a contract stating your dildo is for educational purposes, but if you get caught using it for other purposes you could in theory be prosecuted. Texas Penal Code also outlaws homosexual sex and the use of sex toys by homosexuals. Heterosexuals are allowed to use sex toys, but if they possess more than five, it is a felony with intent to sell. People who are tried under these laws are convicted as having committed a sex crime and must register themselves as sex offenders, which then becomes public knowledge. Having recently been arrested in Texas for something even more stupid than this, I don't recommend it.

The most wonderful scenes that my Sir and I have had have been public scenes. I LOVE the energy and the comments afterwards. In fact when I scene in public I fly I think it is because my Sir makes me feel beautiful and I feel like everyone gets to see it.

I have just started getting out - to both, and have found it a GREAT opportunity to meet other people who are articulate, intelligent, open minded and share a common interest. Not only can you learn from watching other scenes, but just the small talk will often give you new ideas. To keep your own relationships fresh and exciting, anytime you can surround yourself by people you can learn from - that is GOOD!

i don't know what that has to do with the post you're quoting, but ok. It's not what people on the forum think of me. It's that i have been harrassed on these boards since November. A little group has followed me from thread to thread and post to post, tearing me and everything apart that i say. So i felt like finally answering back. And you know what? i really didn't have to because so many people on these different threads have said something to the little group and have e-mailed me privately with their support. So it turned out to be a great thing for me. i was told about the block and now i use it and life is peaceful again. So the witch hunt and the blacklisting (as some posters have labeled it) turned out to be great for me. i have so many new intelligent and kind and caring people to talk to and write to that sent me their support that i am so very happy and relaxed. So i owe them a thanks. So thank you little group. You know who you are. :)
