Status: offline 		Our toys take up a whole closet and that doesn't include the furniture. If someone is coming over and we have to give the tour we will cover our funiture with fabric, and just close the closest door and hope no one goes in there.

Status: offline 		Well our roommate is my ex so there's no issue there.

When my mom visited, we didn't do anything but clean normally.  Toys are kept in bags and closets, but the pictures and books and movies were still all out. 

I've got extremely picky and wonderful taste in designing space- if something comes it, it's because I really want it to be there and it's not being moved lightly.

It also helps to note that my nephew was playing with the O ring on my collar when he was a baby- it's just who I am.

Single people don't have toys?   I had all sorts of toys when I was still single---damn it I knew I did everything wrong!    Makes a mental note that if I find myself unattached---ditch the toys.

Not a flame but  single people can also have children and array of people who come in and just because someone is single doesn't mean they don't have an opportunity to play and have toys.    My Master has a huge colllection of toys and got most of them prior to me.    He didn't ditch them all and has used them on others before me.   As long as the toys are cleaned and have not be contiminated with anothers blood and/ or body fluid they are reusable.     Quality toys are expensive and in some cases are too costly to replace with every relationship.    I also had some of my own toys prior to him, most of them were insertables and since I had only used them on myself, I didn't see the need to get rid of them and those types of toy can be used solo.    And yes they need to be hidden away.   I don't think it would be proper to have my Mr. Buzzy laying out on the dining room table or my favorite riding crop or cane stuffed in the umbrella stand.   Just because one does not have children or in laws visiting doesn't mean that they don't have an array of people in and out of their homes.    There are tons of people a person can have come to their homes to whom they would be embarrassed to be outed in front of;   work associates and contacts, landlords, repairmen, neighbors, family members, vanilla friends, other peoples children....the list goes on.   Just because someone currently happens to be single does not mean they won't have toys or are inactive in the lifestyle...some people on the boards are into S&M and not at all seeking an exclusive D/s relationship and in some cases the amount of toys they might have in their collection would far exceed the number of toys a D/s couple might have.    I have a very close friend who is very single switch.    She has an entire room filled with toys.      Although she doesn't hide them persay she does lock the door to that room.

You know, I had forgotten all about that bag until you just mentioned it.  My toys are beginning to outgrow their toolbox and I was going to buy another, now I may not have to.

My um's know that my room is off limits.   My youngest will only open my door in the morning to see when I am getting out of bed if he wakes earlier than I.
The restraint system is left attached to the bed, the toys are in one of my dresser drawers, a tool box and a cardboard box next to the bed (and between the wall)

shoe box. under the bed. all the porn, erotica, toys, lube, whatever live in the box. my roommate knows what i study, has an idea of what i'm interested, and has met several of my friends including of my domme so she's not totally unaware but for the sake of everyone's comfort, under the bed it goes.

Status: offline 		I have two large suitcases and 2 rubbermaid boxes that hold MY toys
My work related (stock) toys and equipment, lingerie are stored in boxes all over the office with labels (butt, nipple, pvc, lingerie etc), I took down the chains when the parental units last visted, but the cross on the wall is still there and the first thing when you see when you walk in the room. My UMs know what I do for work and recreation and  no longer bother to try and look. Altho my 22 yr old does like to open parcels when they arrive full of inventory.

Status: offline 		all but my cocks are housed at my girls place and of course out of sight of the nosy teensprog...the wardrobe is the main location for floggers, canes, crops and my single tail...we also have a chest of drawers on my side of the bed that houses the smaller stuff.

for transportation to different locations i have a bag that originally came with a large deck chair and is therefore long enough to cover the longer items and capacious enough to carry a goodly amount of 'kit'.

Status: offline 		I have a large suitcase on wheels that all but a long cane and a switch fit into and those 2 items are in a corner. Vibes and such are in a large purse out of sight. None of it gets messed with. Too boring to be investigated.
