I am of course a very bubbly and outgoing Sagiatarius! Known not only as the Centaur, but also the Satyr ( go fig) represents Foreign travel and foreign countries and cultures. Religion, the law and higher education. All things which seek to expand one's experience. Freedom. Journeys. ( yeppers.. I love all of that) Positive Traits They are seen as having a duality similar to that of the Centaur or Satyr above. The Sagittarius's dual natures, that of the beast (aggressive, rebellious, sexual, free-roaming, etc.) and the higher nature (philosophical, open-minded, honest etc.) are said to be in constant conflict. The day to day struggle of the Sagittarius is represented in the astrological sign, which is interpreted by some to be an arrow lifting a heavy, cross-shaped burden. In Chinese zodiac I am a Tiger. ( Yang Wood Tiger to be really specific ) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiger_(zodiac) The Tiger ( 寅, yin2, respect, reverence; respectfully), associated with good fortune, power, and royalty, is viewed with both fear and respect. Their protection and wisdom is sought after. The Chinese (and generally all of the East) see the tiger, and not the lion, as the king of beasts. (The actual Chinese character for the animal, tiger, is 虎, hu3.) In Chinese thought Wood attributes are considered to be strength and flexibility, as with bamboo. It is also associated with qualities of warmth, generosity, co-operation and idealism. The Wood person will be expansive, outgoing and socially conscious. The wood element is one that seeks always to grow and expand. Wood heralds the beginning of life, springtime and buds, sensuality and fecundity. Wood needs moisture to thrive. I like astrology personaly.. I find it facinating. Gwyn
