Being that I just arrived here myself  *gives her big answer of the day* I do not know. Good luck though :)

I'm new here but from what I have viewed on your profile you seem to have quite a few friends.  This is not Myspace.

well Hmph! and here i was (another 'newbie' ) thinking this was just another site to sit and give idle chit chat back & forth. LOL...hey im kidding.
i have been lucky, ive met some really nice people on here.

Does it really matter how many friends one has on their profile?

I'm not even on Myspace, and I have been blessed with an abundance of friends, and even more acquaintances whom are friendly.  Most of who are not mentioned  anywhere on my profile.

If the OP is seeking people to develop friendships with, more power to him!

A great way to get to know people here at collarme is to post in the forums, as it lets other people view how you think, other than words on a profile.  So many times I've browsed through profiles, and declined to contact that person, just because there was nothing in their profile to give any insight on WHO they are.  But after reading something they've posted in the forums, my curiosity and interest  developed.

I too noted you a good number of friends listed in your profile cannot be all that bad :) From the few I have exchanged idle chit chat with so far I agree with imnotlooking seems to be a number of nice people here. Now if I can just get over the vanilla icon which implies I 50 posts to go before even being considered a newbie all shall be well in the realm ;)

I don't know the answer to the OP's question, either. He has a good profile - his "blurb" is intriguing, his picture is clear, and he has defined many interests.

I sometimes wonder if perhaps my own profile is too detailed and leaves nothing for anyone to ask. Am I intimidating in my thoroughness? Of course, I've been on the site for all of a month (not even), but the first rush of "Let's check out the new girl" has faded, and I no longer have a full mailbox.

This happens on every dating site - not just BDSM sites.

I'm new here too and having a great time. I've met some cool people and some fun ones and a couple of jerks, but overall, this place is great!  Do you go into the chat rooms? That's where I'm meeting them. But...I do have an agenda. I gotta have fun.

I hope you meet some cool people.
