BTW, Taken I loved your little love note. Are you going to start stalking me now?

MissHarlet -> RE: The collaring ceremony (1/10/2008 11:53:49 AM)

oh oh .. did I miss something again ?

AquaticSub -> RE: The collaring ceremony (1/10/2008 11:56:41 AM)

I just received a very rude and insulting letter talking about how I'm not evil like the others, just misguided. I would like to add that I have never contacted this woman privately, it was random and quite spiteful.

darchChylde -> RE: The collaring ceremony (1/10/2008 12:08:19 PM)

I have often considered how i would like my collaring to be, as if i had any say.  Bbut as a submissive, wouldn't i be taking the "wifely" position where i organized the whole thing and made decisions while Ma'am would take the "husbandly" role and simply showing up and suffering through it? LoL  Ok, seriously, i thought that a nice big ceremony with a reception and long, poignant self-written vows and lots and lots of candles would be cool.  But seeing as i'd likely be a grinning, blushing and crying heap entirely incapable of intelligent thought (just like i was yesterday); that probably would not be the best idea.

What i see actually happening would be that we're at some kind of event and only a few people would be privy to what's going on, possibly not even me; and i'd be instructed to kneel before Ma'am and hold my hair out of the way while She put the collar on Her property.  Then She'd hug the puddle o' sub and drag me by the hair to get beat.

Either way works for me, or anywhere in between.

After a collaring ceremony is there usually a reception or celebraton of some sort? Are there any special foods used? Thanks.

Well, i can only speak from my own experience but, here's how my 'collaring ceremony' went.  On the 5th of December, 2005, in the living room of my Master's apartment, He told me to take off my clothes and get on my knees.  i did as i was told.  He then took out the black leather collar that He had bought for me.  He cut off the price tag, put it around my kneck and buckled it.  Then, He attached a 50 foot, rubber-coated chain to it and told me to go fix dinner.  Dinner consisted of chicken breasts with rice, green bean casserole and diet pepsi.  i served coffee and hot tea, with apple turnovers for dessert.  There were no witnesses and nothing was signed nor were there any vows or other special words spoken.  It was very special and memorable and i still feel as excited to be wearing my Master's collar today, as i did on that day.  i've never much cared for a lot of fanfare in my personal life.  Simple and sincere always works for me.

*smiling mischieviously*  yes, my sister is adorable; but she's more His submissive than Hers'

seriously, thank you most kindly; i would tell Ma'am but She keeps tabs on me so you basically told Her yourself

MissHarlet -> RE: The collaring ceremony (1/10/2008 1:04:50 PM)

It was special to the two of you and that is what is important ..... it sounds wonderful ! The fact that you can remember all the details shows the importance of the event and how memorable it will always be to you.

Littlepita -> RE: The collaring ceremony (1/10/2008 2:12:06 PM)

We had a lovely and very private collaring ceremony. The next weekend we had a party at our home with our favorite people. We read a portion of our vows and passed out a leather rose to our guests. I also had a book and markers where I made everyone sit and write their own page to us. It was lots of fun.

Does the collar normally come after the ownership since your tag line states you are already owned?   If not--you must already be collared so please share how your own collaring ceremony went.

Not always. I'm owned by not collared. For us (and only us!) the collaring is a deeper commitment, like being married instead of being engaged.

I feel so left out. I don't know what Ugg boots are.
