If fundraising isn't that important to you, an online CM photo album would be easier to accomplish.  If you really wanted to including fundraising in the effort, you could set up a contest for favorite photos with a nominal charge for each vote.  Or use the same type of thing to make the final selections for the calendar.

Does Cm need funds? if so what for?

RFL, I think they always need them.  The revenue from the banners do not pay the bills.  There are just some awesome owners here.

If there is anyone who is actually serious about this, I know a photographer who does this exact thing:

Taggard

Yeah but Taggard, is he in the US and do it for free?  That would kinda discount alot of people whom he cannot photograph, theres a lot of posters in Canada and Aus, as well as Blighty.  If you did do this, it would be good to keep it in the CM family as it were - there are plenty of designers and PRs and advertising coolios here.
Darcy has published on Lulu - it's pretty easy - and I know of at least two others on here who have too if they want to step up.
I like the sound of Knocalas thought, you donate to vote... that gets twice the fundraising for CM.  Money for the vote and the item.

A calendar? Hey, man, this is 2008. Get with the program!” A while back I decided it was as important to see a good photograph as it was to shoot one. Some photography I don’t get just like some music I stay away from and don’t feel the need to get. The art of photography is not about making and exact 2 dimensional duplicate of what is in front of the camera. I’m not anti-photos or anything. I even like cat photos. I mean a great lens is nice, but a superb rendering is better. We need something beyond the calendar like  posting naked pictures every week…a different pose every week.

A page a day CM Diary............
male sub on a Monday
femme Domme on a Tuesday
femme sub on  Wednesday
Dom on a Thursday
switches on a Friday
and couples for Saturday
poly combos for Sunday
tv's for bank holidays
and tg's for religious holidays just to fuck with tradition
a fetish here or there just to add suyrprise
and restrain the models who are pretending to be coy
now who did I subconsciously leave out?????

I KNOW the site could always use money, as I said, they operate out of pocket enough every month to probably make most people have heart palpitations if they had to pay that bill.  I know at one point in time there was a paypal donation button, but the amount the site got was very negligible, and that is when the ad banners came into existence.  I'm sure they could use both though.

Items can be made and sold through cafepress

edited to add....items can be made and sold completely online.  Calendars, sub of the month mugs, tshirts, etc.  And people can purchase them from that site.  Keeps anonymity in tact for those who so desire and the proceeds can be sent to collarme.

Heading back to Vegas the week of the 21st. Interested?

Interested?  Yes!  Available?  No. :(

Anyway, Elle and I want to come and visit you guys in Cali, maybe we will bring our Kat.  We want to see the L.A. scene.    Now we just have to find the time!

Taggard

P.S.  I'll send you the pic right after I post this.

I am not suggesting he take the photos, just that he could help put it together once the photos were chosen.  He could give us the specs for the photos, so people submitting photos for the calendar would know the minimum requirements.  And he already has the software and such to put it together.  I figure it would be a jump start if we really wanted to do it...and he might help us avoid some common pitfalls.

Anytime my friend! 'Simply Michael' and 'BSB' are planning a trip this spring and I promised to host a play party when they do. Maybe you can join us. I'll let you know when the date is firm.

Thanks for the pic! That was a VERY Fun evening! Ever used soy candles?

Oh. Well if they don't actually work to keep your feet warm I don't see a point in them.

Please do!  That could be just the excuse we need to make some time.

No, should I?  How are they different?

How are they different?

Soy candles burn at a lower temperature. They turn into an oil that some friends of ours use almost as a massage oil. They also smell fantastic and last longer.

Consider the source Taggard - As you know I'm no expert on wax play or soy play. Yeah I admit to sadistically using it but can't give you any insight on its relative merits or lack of compared to the wax variety.

Soy candle play may merit its own thread.

If you want to make a ton of $$$, let people pay not to see naked pics of me! I'll threaten to post one every week unless the ransom demand is met....

You know what's interesting. I've never seen CM ask for anything. They didn't have those ads for a long time. I never could figure out how they make money if they even want to, not that I'm complaining.
