i would have to say, when the time comes i would watch the tv shows i like ( CSI, What Not to Wear) and play video games

i do a lot of things, but one of my favorite indulgents is to have my best friend come over and we get snacks and watch my DVD collection of Queer as Folk. Brian and Justin is the greatest romantic couple in all of history (to us) . talk about porn with an intreresting plot. It's all that rolled in one and all the people on there are just as wonderful.

I get one day a week that's kind of 'my time' - most Sundays.  I spend the day working on art / craft projects, cleaning the house, catching up on general chores and laundry, and all the while, listening to my kinda 'hippie chick' music. Sometimes I'll toss in several hours of HGTV or FoodNetwork.  Other times, I'm a responsible girl, and go into the office and work. :(

SJ will be in class all day Sunday and my indulgence will be to watch football while I scrub the floors.  I'll probably indulge in some loud music as well.  Who knows - maybe I'll go really crazy and put on the food network! lol

I curl up on the couch with my favorite blanket, a soda and a snack and watch a musical DVD like My Fair Lady, Fiddler on the Roof,  or  the other side of things like Harry Potter, Schindlers List or MIB ..something I can get lost in for a while.

Going to bed when I want to. I'm more of a night owl than he is, so being able to stay out of bed watching TV or reading until midnight is bliss.

A long hot bath with a book and a glass of wine without interruption.

Clothes shopping. He's terribly impatient in stores and it makes me tense. So, if I'm up for a wandering shopping trip, I go when he's away.

I'm with you, Shawn.  Whenever I'm not talking to Mistress on the phone, I'm usually playing video games (violent ones, of course), surfing the net, or watching good ol' action movies with loads of senseless violence and colorful language.  [:D]  I'll probably watch the "Die Hard" trilogy, "The Matrix" trilogy, "Blade" trilogy, or the two "Underworld" movies.  Hell, I may have a "Lord of the Rings" or "Indiana Jones" marathon, too.  Other times, I may go out to the golf course and play 18.  Who knows?  I'm fluid like the water, man.

reality TV, princess bride, staying up past my bedtime, hour long baths, and housework. I dont really mean cleaning..but the last time Daddy went away froa  week, I got three kitchen cabinets built, an entertainment center, and laid hardwood floor in the living room. somehow I can never get any work done when he is around. Next time he leaves Im building a fence.

I can guarantee that watching "chick flicks" is the last thing I'd do[;)].  I must be an aberration of nature because this is one chick who can't stomach "chick flicks," "chick lit," or any other "chick" genres.  Give me blood and violence in my books and movies anyday.  I'd be more apt to watch a Clint Eastwood western marathon (except Master and I do that together).

I don't really do anything any differently when He isn't here except listen to my Seventies music.  I have satellite radio and my #1 preset station is "The 70's."  He detests about 80% of what they play so I usually choose another station when He's around.  He allows me to listen to it but He could hurt Himself with all the eyerolling and muttering it causes Him to do[:D].  I usually turn it up and I often use what extra "alone" time I have to try and catch up on my reading (lots of serial killer books I'm falling behind on).  I listen to music and read in between loads of laundry and other chores.  Good times[sm=banana.gif]..........luci

If I know in advance that they're going to be out for a while, I'll psyche myself up to do some cleaning or plan some quality time with my um, just the two of us.  Sometimes, if I'm feeling indulgent, I'll knit or mess on the computer.

this past summer, Daddy went on vacation with some relatives and for the first time ever left me in the house, on my own, for the duration of the trip. He was gone for five days. at first, i was wallowing in lonliness and depression, not doing much of anything. then i just snapped out of it and decided that i wanted to really impress him with a sparkling clean, organized house and fit, halfway-sane slave when he returned. so i spent most of my time doing deep cleaning, and some free time catching up on my reading. still, a Dom friend of his would stop by the house everyday to check up on me, maybe for an hour or so, so i wasn't TOTALLY alone, but it sure felt like it.

We don't live together and when we're not able to see each other, I would do all those things, clean, chick flicks, music, reading, etc...

And then I discovered that most of them involved me not really doing anything differently for myself.

So...last week, I started taking dance lessons....waltz, rumba, cha-cha and the like. I'm checking out ballroom dancing and then latin dancing and after that swing. I'm going to decide which I like the most and that'll be the class I end up staying in week to week. It's really quite perfect. It's at a dance studio, so not a bar environment. They advertised that people didn't need to be coupled up and I discovered that they're exactly right. I think it's a lot of fun AND I'm learning something I can use for all of my life. In addition to that, I have this hope that once I actually have a better idea of what I'm doing on a dance floor that he'll be happy with the results - but mostly, I'm doing this because I've wanted to learn for a very long time now.

read, read, read! i read the forums, short stories etc...
i also write, poetry, short stories and anything that comes to mind
i love the movie "Notebook"
long hot baths, sending Him dirty little text messages and pictures via His cell phone
and waiting for Him to come back, to feel His touch and His breath on me again...just missing Him when He isn't close
