She walks around with her head lowered
Wondering why she feels so alone
There is a candle lit on the table
Flickering amongst the scattered stones.
The walls have many images in the light
But in the darkness she sees just shadows
She looks for her One and only shadow
Amongst them all she only catches one sight
She walks to it and touches the shadow
The flicker of hope,that it would come alive
She places a kiss on the wall of shadows
Then suddenly she is startled by a sudden no
She turns around and sees another candle amiss
She smiles slightly not knowing who it was
As the shadows disappears she sees the image
Of the shadow being the one she had once kissed..
