suspension can be done with a person of any size, you just have to do it differently...more support points, the structure and the rope has to be able to support the weight of the person....ie. the working load of the rope must accomodate the weight of the person, the furniture or beams that they are being suspended from must be able to support the weight, any connectors must be able to support the weight as well...then the rope should be wrapped around the bottom more times than you would a lighter bottom to distribute the weight on that particular point...also the average heavier person cannot support their entire weight on just their arms for a long period of time (and not that many lighter people can either...for that matter) but you may have to have more support points along the trunk of the body, because that is where all people carry their weight...anyway...all that said...an Top should not even think about doing this type of thing if they have not at least thought about all this, and hopefully recieved some kind of education in it, whether it be in a class format or a peer to peer format... as for other types of bondage...it all depends on the person, at my heaviest and a size 28, i was more flexible than many size 6 to size 10 women i knew....but i could not kneel for extended periods of time...every person is different, every person has their physical strengths and weaknesses, likes and dislikes...to s-types, know yours and don't be ashamed to let them be known...to D-types, it is not an insult to you to listen to an s-type about their strengths and weaknesses, likes and dislikes...when a scene flows well, it makes you look good... just my two cents chelle
