Ok, I think myself of a seperate belief than that which I was 'Christened', and am very happy with that, but recently I was told if I had been christened as something , one of the religous sects, then I am that despite what I call myself. I was also told I would have to apply to whoever or whatever to remove myself from the list of that religion, or forever be what I was christened as. Christening as an act I do like, because I fail to see how a child can have 'original sin'.My parents did it as a matter of course, it was the done thing, but had I be given a choice knowing my feelings on the matter, that answer would be no way. So, I ask here, if I were christened something or other, do I have to apply to wherever to remove myself from their list?
