BalletBob -> RE: About Tieing! (9/15/2005 7:52:26 PM)

Hi Ma'am. Welcome to the group. I love to be tied in rope, and Nylon is the best. My MADAM also had me wash it some too, to soften it up. I did get to wash "MY" rope a few times, but not enought to soften it up all the way. I used one of those Mesh Bags, to keep the rope from tangling with the agitator..the Washing Machines, and not the Sub. She had me get 75' and cut 6 lengths @12' and had a 3' piece for small things....OUCH...which I made into Rope Handcuffs. If you cut your own Nylon Rope, seal the ends, to prevent them from fraying....I used a match. Some hardware stores even have a soldering gun, to cut and seal the ends in one step....but I haven't worked at a hardware store in 15 years. I also like to use the Leather Wrist ad Ankle Ciffs now..quicker and easier than the rope, and not as HARD as the Handcuffs..which I would rather have on the Ankles, against Nylon socks....but that's a whole other matter....*smile* Good Luck and Always have fun, BalletBob Someone
