Floggers. Or cats o' nine tails or multi tailed whips or whatever you want to call 'em. Paddles don't have enough play or give for my tastes. Leather slappers are better, but anything solid (wood, metal, etc) is very limited in where you can strike. Can't really hit someone on the shoulder blades, for instance. And it doesn't wrap and contour to the body. Single tails are difficult to control and can be dangerous, even if you know how to operate them. But multi tails? Excellent play, can be used anywhere on the body (that can be struck, of course), fairly safe, and so on. These are the cornerstone of my collection and what I prefer to use.
