GhostWhoWalks -> Fire Batons (1/13/2008 6:34:32 PM)

 Currently I have a procedure for making fire batons (Thanks and a hat tip to David Walker and Dr. Robert J. Rubel ) involving 3/8" threaded metal stock cut to about 14", a bag of 100% cotton balls, a container of 100% cotton cheesecloth, a roll of galvanized wire (16 gauge), a pair of scissors, and a pair of diagonal wire cutters.
Being a lazy sot, I'd rather buy them.  Does anyone have a good source for quality made fire batons?   Thank you in advance for your help in this matter.

Bob Rubel's fire book gives just that a step by step instruction on how to make them and i dont know anywhere you can buy them  let alone buy them cheaper than you can make them . I spoke with  him in length through out this past weekend  , he has some neat ideas .And i got to share note with him aswell .
If you must buy them VS make your own go to a music store and get those fuzzy bass drum sticks .
enjoy
