for the knees - knee pads....only way to go...i've done hours of kitty play without knee pads in a puppy mosh pit, and the next night my knees were bruised and i borrowed knee pads but i still couldn't play like i wanted to...if you do a google search and then the google shopping page, you can find all sorts of knee pads...personally, i would pay a little more for the knee pads, because it is something i am really into, and i like my knees...i've tried on the cheap knee pads...they just hurt in different ways... i am looking at getting these http://tinyurl.com/3bj5r2 ...........and for when you don't have knee pads, keep two pairs of long tube socks in your play bag...fold one pair up, and then use the other pair to tie the folded socks up around your knees for make shift knee pads.... for the feet - as mentioned...thick socks...i would go with crew socks, because i don't know about you, but when i am on my hands and knees, the majority of the time, the top of my foot it flat, not like a pup that runs on their toes... for your hands - you have some options...they have pretty kitty gloves on http://www.sub-shop.com ....but personally, i am looking to get a pair of fingerless weight lifting gloves....protects the palms and wrists...leaves my claws free....my other option would be to get a pair of well fitting leather gloves, like police gloves, and put metal caws in the tips, with a technique i have to keep them stable and installed...haven't decided quite yet...but feel free to send me a message on the other side with youe email addy, if you are interested and i will email you the directions on how to make them, it is an easy afternoon project.... take care chelle
