Try searching using the word gauntlets

CalifChick -> RE: quick question (1/14/2008 5:39:37 PM)

Do you mean vambraces or arm guards?

If so:  http://www.kingarthursarmoury.com/site/1640122/product/782-8578158
http://www.pearsonsrenaissanceshoppe.com/LeatherArmGuard.html
http://www.bytheswordinc.com/acatalog/Arm_and_Wrist_Bracers.html

If none of those work for you, post back and I'll give you some more.

if you're talking about wrist sheaths kinda like ya see in the swordplay types of movies, try looking at websites for Renaissance faire vendors... unfortunately, I haven't got any links to offer because I am at work, and my damned PC is in the shop anyway..LOL  Good luck!

I agree with the previous posters, look for gauntlets.  There are a few sellers on eBay that make very nice ones.  As for a leather braid for his long hair, you can find them at any local biker shop.  Happy shopping!

phear215 -> RE: quick question (1/15/2008 1:25:52 AM)

youre having trouble finding them? really? dont they sell those things in hot topic these days? if ya really cant find them go into a trendy flashy tattoo shop you can usually find em there. you can also get a nice bong too  :)  j/k.

Asherdelampyr -> RE: quick question (1/15/2008 1:35:20 AM)

Try the merchant links from http://www.sca.org
look for "Bracers"

As far as the leather goes, I generally use a thin strip of deer leather for my hair, that I braided myself. It sounds like you are looking for something like that? most leather stores will give/sell very cheaply a smaller piece like that since it has no other practical use. :P

Muttling -> RE: quick question (1/15/2008 2:12:04 AM)

OMG Babe..........There are all sorts of things out there.    From masculine and dominant stuff like vambraces n gauntlets to restraining types of all forms.

If you can't find what you REALLY want, you can find many leather smiths who will construct it.    If you really want something particular and something special, I strongly suggest going to a good leather smith and let them create a custom piece of work for you to present to your Dom.   It won't be cheap, but it will be quite unique and very special.   Something your Dom can take GREAT pride in showing off.    IMO, there is no greater gift to a Dom than some statement of submission which He/She can show off to others and have others say WOW.......I want one of those!!!!!

Asherdelampyr -> RE: quick question (1/15/2008 2:14:01 AM)

I agree

whispererr -> RE: quick question (1/15/2008 2:21:32 AM)

LOL i guess i should have said that we live in rural outback australia and the nearest supermarket is 300 kilometres away, let alone any kink outlets!!!

I was hoping to find someone online somewhere that could sort me out and save the fuel from the drive!!!

Anyways thanks to all that replied so far i will def check out those places.. especially now that i know what the heck those things are called...

Asherdelampyr -> RE: quick question (1/15/2008 7:03:48 AM)

eBay might be a good bet as well

Kitte9 -> RE: quick question (1/15/2008 10:28:29 AM)

You can also try www.museumreplicas.com

Asherdelampyr -> RE: quick question (1/15/2008 10:30:57 AM)

they're really expensive

MercTech -> RE: quick question (1/15/2008 11:16:19 AM)

If you are talking about the leather arm guards try looking for "bracers"
And, you can find them at a traditional archery supply if they cater to medievalists.

Googling for "leather bracers" brings up a plethora of websites.
i.e.  http://www.schmitthenner.com/bracers.htm
