What attracts you to a Dominant/Domme, but i don't believe that this question was ever asked. What repels you about them also and why? One of my pet peeves is someone who is always on. (this goes for my vanilla life too), They are constantly making jokes even at inappropriate times. It make me think that the reason they do this is because they either have nothing relevant to say or they feel that no one pays attention to them otherwise. Either way i find it sad and annoying at the same time.

It is hard to say exactly why you like someone. There are so many things. I met a special person once on collarme...4 years ago. She had this cute picture and profile. I already had given up finding some one. People seemed to be rude in their replies. And suddenly i get this very nice and decent reply from her. We wrote more..and some how her words just put a spell on me. The way she showed interest, her elegance, she waiting for me comming home, her proud, her loyalty, her protocols. And many small things. (She was a kajira) i don't have a certain type of person i look for, I just like a person for the whole package..and that can be everything

i look for someone who can be open and honest from the start.if i feel they are covering things up i will not proceed. i had one early last spring that was showing interest and was saying his wife was intersted as well but it always "rubbed" me wrong that not even once did he ever offer for her and i to talk.that was a red flag as far as i am comcerned. i had another bad experience after that, that just about turned me off of this for good.but i went to a site i knew and made a post in regards to "where are the real Masters" i got a sresponse from someone who was honest in his words but he had not left an indication of interest.what he had done was this. he had stated that if i felt i needed to talk to someone to feel free to drop him a line and talk to him. we kept in touch and when neither of us was really looking we both found what we were looking for.we talked openly through mail and cell phones,he made it clear that anyone coming into their home would be there to serve both him and his wife,which was fine and still is.he offered immediately for her and i to start talking as well, and we did. we all spendt the next few weeks talking and getting to know eachother better and them they made the decsion to bring me to their home. now i've been here almost 4 months,we are working on the next phase of my training and we are all building the relationships we all have together in this. we are all very happy now and i am honored to be serving both my Lord and Mistress. and why,because from day one we all have been open and honest.

What turns me off or what things do I find repellent? Arrogance, which is different from self-assurety. Closed mind, when there is so very much in the world that is still to be explored or learned. Racism or bigotry, unless you personally know every single person in the group hated/looked down upon I consider you an idiot. If you do know every single solitary person within that group then I consider you to have some serious issues with the understanding of human nature. Casual cruelty. Sometimes a person has to resort to harshness or even cruelty to force a point across but it shouldn't be the first or second thing used and the reprocussions should always be thought of beforehand. It should not be a part of daily interaction with people, using their flaws/faults as the basis for communication at all times. A refusal to consider that you may be wrong on some things, being wrong is okay. Just admit it, understand it and learn from it. Those are just some basics and they are all internal ones. There are externals as well that I find repellant but I'm not sure you asked for that.

Basically anything from the deal breaker thread would go here (which is pretty much all what camille said). Also that I can't stand the "domlier/subblier than thou" attitude so I wouldn't be interested in anyone either had the domlier thing gonig on or if any of their current property had the subblier thing going on. Respect is huge deal for me as well.

fast reply Very few people "repel" me, as I feel that in order to expect others to let me follow my persoanl path that I should extend the same courtesy. But I love diversity, I love learning about other people's thought process and watching the choices they make. Sure I am more drawn to some people over others but I think that the differences also make for a beurtiful mosaic of humanity. Though there are Doms that I wouldn't personally be compatible with for various reasons, I also recognize that for the most part their will be someone who cherishes the quirks that I didn't appreciate. The beauty of this is that we can all seek to achieve happiness without compromising our own sense of self. I think when we live in a world where we expect everyones paradigms to match our own we are setting ourselves up for failure. With that said-- the quirks that I find myself struggling to accept in an intimate relationship range from misogyny to a lack of intellectual curiosity to closed-mindedness to a lack of honesty and a lack of self-esteem a bevy of small habits (I cut a date short once because the gentleman held his fork like a shoves and I couldn't get past that)

Some people have very good sense's of humor' to something that is funny. Some people just aren't into childish, foolish nonsense all the time. unless it comes from a child. and then again some people will laugh at anything. To each his own.

One of the most endearing traits my BIL posseses according to my sister is his South Park sense of humor. I don't get it, but then he often doesn't get my sarcasm so I guess the score is even. Though he is a person I would never be drawn to, he makes my sister very happy and with that regard, I appreciate his role in our family.
