Over the years I have spoke with & met a few male submissives from Italy & other European countries. I was often puzzled by the large numbers so I did some research on why so many European males were seeking outside their own country.
Here are a few points I found within this research...
women access the Internet less often
age: the elderly (55 and above) appear clearly more remote than other generations
education: access to the Internet strongly increases with the level of education
place of residence: Internet access appears more frequent in large cities, probably because technical capacities are more favorable
socio-professional categories: the most fortunate classes (liberal professions and executive officers) as well as students access the Internet more often.
The typical profile of households using the Internet is therefore verified: a rather young, male-oriented household (in the case of single person households), rather educated, metropolitan and from a rather well-to-do social category
With 71 percent of Italian Internet users being men, Italy has the highest proportion of men online. In Europe as a whole, more men use the Internet than women <snip>
So if men in European countries are using the internet as their only source for finding partners they are up against higher odds of meeting women than American men.
