Heh my call for naked jello wrestling is not unique and is merely an attempt to bring humor to the situation not take sides.  Now what flavor jello do you prefer BiteGirl?  [;)]

Lime, no - Strawberry.

Hm. What do you think? I've never been in one of these, I'm a jello fight virgin...

Me too unless you count the second grade lunch table.

BiteGirl -> RE: Switch only club (1/15/2008 11:55:59 PM)

Ah, second grade... So do you think we should just mix all the flavors available and go for it then?

achildatheart -> RE: Switch only club (1/16/2008 12:01:56 AM)

Choose strawberry! Its the best flavor.

I don't think we're planning on eating the jello...so not sure it matters....suicide jello...hmmm....I'm kind of partial to black cherry Jello brand myself...it smells really good too and the color goes well with my skin! [8D]

BiteGirl -> RE: Switch only club (1/16/2008 12:08:29 AM)

Lol. Those two comments made me giggle.

Unfortunatly I don't know any of those flavors ('cept for strawberry), so I think, to keep everyone happy, we're going to have to have this fight in rounds, in different tubs with different jelly. [;)]

laurell3 -> RE: Switch only club (1/16/2008 12:09:55 AM)

You should know I actually lack any domestic skills and can easily make jello wrong....so good luck making all that jello! [;)]

BiteGirl -> RE: Switch only club (1/16/2008 1:08:52 AM)

Haha, But in the end, we all know it will be worth it to see the fight...

liketophoto -> RE: Switch only club (1/16/2008 2:53:08 AM)

Perhaps cherry is in order.

oliderid -> RE: Switch only club (1/16/2008 5:48:31 AM)

liketophoto Interesting question ;-)

What about this:
When you enter the club you receive a badge randomly. Black or white. Black for submission, white for domination. Or...Special nights like switching each two hours (with different partners or not that's up to you). 22h00 Black are topping, 24h00 white are topping. So if you were a bitch...It could really hurt :-).

Bitegirl: take it easy. There is no need to be rude. :-(

Kaylin: well since it would be my club my rule...Since I'm a feet/shoes fetichist. Open toes shoes will be sincerily accepted;-). Invite only membership is maybe the way to go. Another rule the only dress code would be to be sexy, period. Not leather or latex should be mandatory. Just be yourself and try to be sexiest man/woman you can be. I'm  tired of wearing somekind of an uniform really.

Boondoggle: You've got a point. There is no point to impose the shitty attitude we experience most of the time. This is a bit absurd in some ways.

Mmmh This could be really fun :-).

KaylinSilverfurr -> RE: Switch only club (1/16/2008 7:40:50 AM)

Oliderid,

Part of the reason come clubs enforce a dress code is to attract certian clinets to the establishment and create a certian reputation. Just like for a few of the bars here, the dress code is a little more relaxed, but there are definately rules in place. No track suits, no bandanas, no hats. This is mainly to keep potential gang members out of the bar to keep the clients safe. But just because there is a dress code, doesn't always mean that there sadly won't be violence.
Invite or membership only might be the way to go, as in both cases you have existing members vouching for a person wanting to gain admittance. Not only does the established member have to keep an eye on the new one to make sure they understand the rules of the venue, the new member should be watching themselves as well so as to not disappoint the person who's vouched for them.

For your ideas on handing out badges, that could be a great theme night idea for sure! I'd love to attend something of that nature!

oliderid -> RE: Switch only club (1/16/2008 8:53:09 AM)

That's great you have places where the dress code is more relaxed. Here in Brussels it used to be that case in my favorite place three years ago. But it had to close due to drugs trafficking. Now all you have here are strict dress code. Leather from head to toes and boots. If you don't wear a collar then you are dominant if you have one, you are sub.

Don't get me wrong, I like it but well sometimes you simply want to be something else. For example I like to top wearing my business suit sometimes :-), not some cheap stuff, sober italian design with classy shoes.

Here is Brussels the scene is pretty safe IMHO. There is no gang as far as I know.

Anyway invitation-only, membership and monitoring new members is probably the only way to go.

Or well this thing is really intriguing :-). What about renting a villa somewhere on the French riviera and spend two weeks with switch friends. You can alternate good food, good wine, tourism, sunbaths, swimming siesta with spicy stuffs :-). Sometimes I really feel like we are wasting our best years.

KaylinSilverfurr -> RE: Switch only club (1/16/2008 8:58:46 AM)

I would so love to do something like that. I got the chance to travel last year, and have been itching to do so again.
I know one of the local munches (We call them 'Socials') here has a semi-quasi dress code...which is basically no street gear, and all genitals must be covered along with the anus. I haven't been to one in a while, and they're usually held monthly.

And the thought of a Dom in a buisness suit is actually rather appealing. There are many things running through my mind now because of that. *chuckles*

oliderid -> RE: Switch only club (1/16/2008 11:53:13 AM)

Kaylin,

It is great you have more "liberal" places like your socials. I really miss them.
A business suit means authority in some way...And if you try are elegant, take care of your appearence, a delicate perfume like Aqua di Gìo...whispering indecent propositions in your victim ear become so natural.

Ok I must stop here, not good for my mental health :-p
Yes hollidays like this is certainly worth to try. Well January...I still have some months ahead to plan it :-).

KaylinSilverfurr -> RE: Switch only club (1/16/2008 2:46:33 PM)

Oli,

I definately agree that a buisness suit means authority, espcially when coupled with fine grooming.
*grins*

I like the badge idea!
I think this all goes to prove,

"that everybody loves jello".

While reading this forum, I think I could make a fortune out of it. We all are a bit frustrated. I think I should define a test at the doorstep like...Errr mmmh ...Any idea? :-)

Frankly, I don't think you'd have to worry about an at-the-door test. The mono-identified ones won't have any interest and should only be allowed in if they are a guest or property of a switch.

When are you opening up?...great idea...How about finding a spot in NYC?!? Plenty of us here...(hint, hint)

[;)]

MNN

oliderid -> RE: Switch only club (1/17/2008 6:36:41 AM)

Don't know much about the NY scene...Except its famous reputation . but objectively this is probably the best city to try this concept. :-).
But a total foreigner like myself won't succeed...I guess it is like anywhere else. You first need contacts/network/reputation.

You can try it through a good deal with a local institution. You take a minimum of risk to validate this concept.
You share profits in a reasonnable way and that's it.

concerning property...Well if the sub  is willing to discover new side of his/her personnality why not...If she/he is totally submissive through the event, I  don't see how it could help this party success IMHO. The real issue of switching (at least for me), is exchanging power (losing or winning it).Exchangin power means that you must be equal in some ways. There are a lot of "fantaisies" that you can't explore in the traditionnal BDSM way. You are either dom(me) or sub and I personnally get tired of this.

total freedom (lesbian, gay, straight, anything)....All those things about these dommes secretly dreaming about alpha men...Or those pompeous dom falling in front of a one night femme fatale. Or a sub humiliated for hours suddently whipping the hell out of a stranger. This is the place where it could happen.
Topping from the bottom is too narrow. It should be freedom, do whatever you want, we all break the traditionnal code of conduct of our society, why (oh God why) did we fall into another code of conducts? Personnally my mood change over the night. I bet i'm not the only one :-).

RavenOak -> RE: Switch only club (1/18/2008 10:27:25 AM)

In my opinion...prejudice only breeds anger and resentment.  Doesn't really matter if you're the majority or minority.  Reverse discrimination is just as bad in my eyes  discrimination in general.

I say come one come all.  As long as they behave themselves and don't hate....I really don't care.

I understand there is a lot of ignorace on this board.  That goes for any board.  As far as them asking questions like "who's in charge" and "explain to me how you can switch"....LOL....I chaulk it up to pure ignorance.

Willful ignorance is stupid....pure ignorance needs an education!  The more questions they ask perhaps the more they will understand.  I see questions as an openess to learn.

beltainefaerie -> RE: Switch only club (1/18/2008 4:50:37 PM)

I'm not sure what the random cat fight wass is the middle of this thread.  Apparently no one ever told some people that if they can't play nice, they shouldn't play at all.  Jello wrestling sounds fun, though.

As for the badges idea, there is a club in Sacramento that has wrist bands.  They had a color for Doms, for subs and for switches.  people would choose what color felt right for them that night (so, even if you were switch, you could choose the Dom color if that was solely your mood).  It worked really well.  As this was also a swingers club, I believe they had gay, straight and bi colors as well for their sex parties.

ram151 -> RE: Switch only club (1/31/2008 8:13:47 PM)

If would be fun to find out who are the real "switches". A real switch wouldn't mind a few of the others coming to the club. Just more opportunity.
