Greetings to everyone, I have a question.

I'm looking to invest in a bag of wooden cloths pins to play with. I've done a bit of research online, but my questions pertains to the best position for cloths pins with pierced nipples? To give you all more info...

I've had both my nipples pierced now for about five monthes and they still have the original captive rings in them. I would think that applying the cloths pins from the side (where the sping end sticks out towards the arm) would not be feesable because of the piercing. Also, in the application if comming from a head-on approach, should the pin also grab some of the areola as well behind the piercing?

Thoughts, experiences and feed-back would definately be appriciated.

Regards,
~Kaylin

I'm going to have to ask you to show us some pictures of your nipples.  Not just the nipples, your breasts - both of them.  And without a look at the rest of your body, the breasts will be out-of-context, so please don't be shy.

And then we'll get right on with the discussion, k?

j/k ;)  I don't have pierced nipples (I guess you can see that) but I know clamps or clothes pins are compatable.  Just not sure how.  I definitely think wooden clothes pins are great for play as Daddy uses them on me sometimes.  He prefers household stuff over specialty sex-shop type items, definitely.

Good luck and have fun!!!

Just put them on there any way you can get them that works.  I know that when I put them on my boy (he has 4 ga in both of them) sometimes it does not work in that position so I just need to move them a bit and he is fine.  Also I have noticed a difference in the brand that is purchased, I don't like the cheap ones as they don't have the same pressure as the ones that cost just a bit more.

You don't often hear "invest" and "clothespins" in the same sentence...

Anyway,  in my experience, putting a clothespin or any other sort of clamp directly over the jewelry a) HURTS and b) usually re-opens the piercing fistula for at least a couple of days. Usually, the best bet is to pull the nipple away from the body, and apply the clothespin from the side, behind the actual jewelry. Still intense, but not as damaging. Of course, all the rest of the breast is fair game as well. i'm not sure what size rings you're wearing, but at least with mine there's no way to put a clamp straight on without getting the ring stuck in the clothespin.

I'd say get some and just experiment until Y/you're happy with how they look and feel, comfortable but not -too- comfortable. What ever works for you.

Thank you to all that have replied thus far.

petdave, yes, I will definately agree that putting a clamp directly on the jewelry does hurt. Even when my partner pinches my nipple, which I have no sensation in them otherwise, that does hurt, and not in the good way. So thank you muchly for the suggestion about clamping behind the jewelry. I currently have the standard guage in my nipples since I got them pierced (which I believe is a 14, he may have gone down to a 12 because I had the nipple size for them). And I use the term "invest" because I know, and have plans to, use them elsewhere on my body.

SirMike, I think at this point going with a cheaper, less pressure version of a cloths pin is a better idea than getting full-fledged, pre-made ones from a bondage shop. I've never had clamps of any kind applied to my nipple, save for when I got the piercings done. If and when I feel comfortable increasing the pressure, a pack of goody rubber bands can go around the ends to increase the tension.

The key is I'm trying to avoid that painful pinch from the clamp due to the jewelry being caught, but still have the same effect as a clamped nipple. I still want to restrict the blood flow enough so that when I release it, I'll get sensation. I'm thinking I might want to switch out to studs instead of staying with the rings.

Thank you to everyone!

i have had both of mine done for years and clamps never bothered them. A side note to this is if you have the captive beed style ring ,and you use the clamps with the threaded tension adjuster you can put the clamp on as per normal then thread the " screw "in past the ring to make to impossable to pull off .....very handy indeed . i spin the beed to one side so the clamp fits in .( ring go's over the top half of the clamp so the threaded hole is past the ring then thread in the tension screw so the clamp can't slid off or be pulled off  )

Ah, you're so lucky then Tied.

My SO piches my nipples too hard and it hurts from the piercing, otherwise I have no sensation in them at all. This is why I'm thinking it might be an issue because it's definately not an enjoyable hurt. I can try and see if it bothers me any, then try attaching the pin from behind the nipple as others suggested.

If you try the type of clamp sugested they can be adjusted to what ever tension you like . If your a bit of a pain slut you can even remove the rubber tips , so the teeth dig into the nipple or add wieghts , or both . Yup love the nipple torture .

Tied,

No, not much of a pain slut to be honest. For me the nipple clamps are about the temporary removal of sensation, and the returning blood flow causing engorgement and sensation from that. I might try something with teeth later, but we'll see.

Kaylin,

Just a bit about my experience. I have always had sensitive nipples. Enjoyed having them pinched, clamped, etc. Then I decided to go get my nipples pierced. I left the barbells in for 9 months. During that time I was never able to tolerate having ANY kind of clamp on my nipples because they were simply too sensitive and it was just too painful.

Additionally, I found that the entire time I had them in, they never fully healed and so if they were played with or pinched too vigorously, they would seep for a couple days after and sometimes even start bleeding. A few months ago, I decided to remove the jewelry because in the end I felt like I was giving up more than I had gained from having them pierced.

I haven't noticed any loss of sensation since I removed the jewelry and they healed, and Daddy seems to enjoy playing with them much more now than he did when the piercings were in.

As to your question, experiment and see if you can find something that works for you. Good luck.

daddysblondie,

Thanks for your reply. I'm on the complete opposite end from your situation it seems, where you have lots of sensation, I have virtually none. In truth, I barely felt a thing when my nipple was pierced in the first place. I'm sorry you had such a poor experience with yours and had to let them go in the end, but sometimes it is for the best.

As a side note/ update to everyone who had posted, I did a little bit of experimenting last night with the clothspins I had, and it turns out the pressure was good enough not to cause that excrutiating level of pain that I had thought I was going to have. Yes, there was discomfort, so other various positions were tried. Seems that behind the piercing was the most comfortable, even is it was awkward, and applying the clothspins from straight on but grabbing the areola behind the piercing as well definately helped.

Thank you to all of you who provided imput.

did you Know you can get a liquid coating at any hardware store to dip the ends of the pins in to that the grip is both better and easier to get off later?

Huntertn,

Yes in fact! I've used it off and on for other projects and happen to have a small jar of the stuff still sitting around home. Makes for great, light-weight boffer weapons.
