quote:
Why a grave yard? When my Sasha dies, I shall burn her body on a pile of logs covered with perfumed oils, her ashes will be kept in a safe place and in turn half of mine will be. (The other half will be scattered from a high place over the mountains and sea.) Grave yards are for dead people...... In the UK, there are already some graveyards where people are allowed to have their pets buried with them/beside them and if thats their choice, I would say good for them. My daughters guinea pig died two days ago and we are all extremely upset. These are animals that have the run of the house, not outside ones( lol - my wires are shot) and to find her curled up in her favourite corner was very upsetting to all. But my daughter decided on cremation and we are awaiting for her remains to be returned and then we are going to have a wonderful service. Tea, cake and remembering her personality and her love she gave my daughter. I believe its good to celebrate any life in any form, not just have some sombre affair all doom and gloom. When I go, I want no black(unless its their dress code anyway), and a full on band... my spirit will have been released from its earthly body is all - and I damn well want that celebrated, not mourned. As for burial - why bother? Why not pick an alternative - be made a firework, or a painting? My preference is - take out my organs, let someone else use them coz I sure won't need them and go on diamonds. £2K gets your or your loved one pressed into a diamond - what could be more beautiful than love set in stone? Some may think its morbid - but hey - death happens and life moves on anyway... Peace and Love
