Hello. I'm new to collar me and wanted to introduce myself. I'm here to simply meet people - not Dom/mes or submissives - but actual people.

Who one is outside those roles is what lets me determine if I would want to be in those roles with that person. I have been fortunate, I posted my profile which is about me as a person; not as a top, or bottom, Domme or sub; but me and my interests outside BDSM, and I have gotten several messages of people wanting to learn more about me which is a breath of fresh air.

I'm looking to meet friends, and who knows if I'm lucky a date, play partner, or life partner.

I'm 24, female, and a lesbian. I am not searching for play or sex right now maybe in time but not now. I live in the Ottawa, ON, Canada area and was part of the local community until I went on hiatus. I would like to get involved again but that will take more time for my health and other situations to change.

Wait, am I not a people because I am submissive? I'm sorry if you meet me in the vanilla world, you will think I'm sweet, I'm a goody-two shoes, I'm a slut, I'm a push-over. But since you are in the BDSM world. . . you might automatically wonder if I weren't submissive instead of a combination of the above listings. It may not be all of who I am outside the lifestyle and outside of sex/the bedroom. But it certainly plays a huge role on my personality. Does that make me less of a people? I sure don't think so.

Lastly I'd like to say, I respect what you are saying, and where you are coming from. But everyone one here is either a Dom, Domme, or a submissive/slave. We are other things, and do other things. But to say you are looking for actual people... seems a bit insulting.

By the way nice to meet you, I love to write poetry, read science fiction, police, patrol, and criticize people's grammar and use of language. I like playing volleyball if I can get a team together, painting, crocheting and any other form of art that's fairly simple.

I didn't mean to be insulting, it's more... People who make profiles like Dom/me or sub robots. "I want you to hurt me, and hurt me to the point I don't like it so you can take enjoyment from it" type profiles that I find very disconcerting. I'd rather see a Dom/me or sub have a profile about their life outside of kink, and inside kink than just the one aspect.

what you may find that many people here do not htink of being a Dom or sub as a "role" but just who they are...
But that said...welcome to a fellow Canadian...hope you find what you are seeking here
