It seems I can when I work in an office with flourescent lighting and keep the plant at work. I had a very nice plant going for a few years when I did. At home, never any luck. Between the wrong lighting and the cats tampering with them, African violets have a very short life span at my house. TPBM likes to grow their own herbs.
