False, but I DO leave "Miss You" cards in Master's folded laundry when He leaves.

TPBM got roses today

False. I might live in Florida, but I'm still about an hour from the beach. And it's getting too damn cold to swim anyways.

TPBM loves winter.

Absolutely!! Especially somewhere far away from here.

The Person Beneath Me dislikes California because of their weather (maybe as much as I do!)

Not sure, just seeing where things go.

TPBM doesn't need an alarm clock to wake up.

True. I used to live in an area of the desert where there was a lot of wildlife. And I miss it.

TPBM has saved and nurtured a wild animal.

True, there are several chipmunks around here who can thank me for saving them from my cat by leaving my flower beds alone! LOL

TPBM has a soft spot for older animals.

True. The old stray cat that comes in and out of the house is the most adorable thing, even though he's missing a few teeth and his ears are kinda shredded from fights. His meow and purr when I give him attention are more satisfying than a kittens.

TPBM has had to euthanize an older pet.

Two of them to be exact, my only cat (I'm allergic to them, but the cat predated me being born, so it got to stay) when I was 16, and our 15 year old chinchilla (which is like Jessie Helms-old for rodents). We also had to put down one of our older dogs because the poor thing was suffering from some kind of cancer, so 3 total of you count him.

TPBM's pets have figured out how to open doors

Semi-true. Otis and Daisy (the cats) can sometimes open certain cabinets, but not real doors. However, the little one (Daisy) has figured out how to knock out the window screens, so I can no longer leave the windows wide open. Not a problem now, but next Spring I will have to engineer a better way to attach the screens. Pain in the ass.

TPBM thinks it's okay for cats to jump up and walk around on tables, counters, etc.

Not a chance, and my four know better than to even try it!

(To Pavel - Master and I lost His 10-yr-old Lab to osteosarcoma (aka bone cancer) in May, 2004. He succumbed frighteningly fast, despite aggressive treatment.)

TPBM wishes they could adopt every stray they find.

False. Don't cheat on mates, but large corporations and certain government agencies are fair game.

TPBM loves to read.
