I've been around for a while, and just realized I haven't introduced myself. While I've been interested in BDSM for quite a long time, I had a looong hiatus until a little before last year. Since then, I've alternately jumped in head first and lurked around in the shadows. I've met some great people, and a few scary ones, and been to the NELA Flea twice now. The one in Providence was excellent, and in my opinion better than last winter's flea. I'm not on a whole bunch of discussion groups or lists, but I found Dark Connections to be full of incredibly bright and prolific people, and they welcomed me with open arms. I even visited Paddles in NYC with them.
My primary interest is rope bondage, mostly as the person doing the tying, though I also enjoyed enough of the bottom side to consider myself a Switch. I am originally from Pennsylvania, and find that I enjoy excuses to return to my old stomping grounds in the Delaware Valley (hint, hint).
My current fascinations are suspension bondage and single-tail whips, and I am a total novice in those topics. If there's anybody around who'd enjoy showing me some technique, drop me a line!
