I think you're right.

See, things are really stored kinda oddly in my head.

42 = 6 * 7
56 = 7 * 8

So I remember it as a number that's the product of two consecutative integers, one being a 7. Since I didn't remember the other, I guessed it was 56, since I normally remember the first number in a series, not the second.

But it's just easier to blame dyslexia (sp?) because explaining how my head works tends to draw a lot of funny stares. :P

Just to bring the thread up to date, here's the latest draft of the ultimate Collarme question:
