Every person whose name was stricken from the rolls got a letter sent to the adress they registered at.  If they chose to use fake adresses, not keep thier registratioin current, or ignore the notification letter, too bad.

Yet another error. Only some counties bothered sending certified letters.

As to naming people denied how many people do you want? Kelvin King and Sandylynn Williams bpth of Tampa are two.

I'm going to keep telling you this till you take a look at a map, The Red Sea is not the Persian Gulf nor the "Persian Gulf region" it might be legit to talk about the Saudi penisula and to include the Red Sea but it sure as heck isn't in the Persian Gulf.

So why the continued obstruction and downright wrong statements? Is it ok to disenfranchise a single voter who showed up at the correct poll after legally registering? If documentary evidence exists indicating that those turned away who had never been previously notified of the purge exceeds Bush's margin of victory is his claim on the win in Florida illegitimate?

How does an independent group effect every single republican now? *scratch head* I guess that means all Democrats are racist since between Hillary and Obama race is such a big issue that both partys are using and all of the democrats tried to make voters think Obama was a Muslim.

domken, it is 20 minutes by air, that is certainly the same region.  The Cole was serving in the carrier fleet that was monitoring the No fly zones (flying Hostile missions).

If the Democratic run Counties in Florida did not notify or provide provisional ballots to thier people, that is not a Republican plot.  IF serving soldiers in a combat region turn in thier ballots to a chain of command headed by the CIC Bill Clinton, and the ballots are postmarked late, we just throw them away garunteeing that Clintons chosen sucessor wins?  Give me a break.  The counties where all the problems occured in Florida were run by the Democrats.

But that has nothing to do with the fake claim that Republicans are slandering ALL Vets, by a group of Vets criticising a specific Vet.  Which is a fake claim.  If you want to start a thread on Florida voting, go ahead....

What lucky is describing is called "vote caging".When done by a political party or it`s operatives,it`s illegal.

The republican party has a standing court order against them,to not use "voter caging".Still, those mother fuckers do it,and to great affect.

The 2000 presidential election was decided on as little a thousand votes.

The GOP had "caged" tens of thousands of voters, and threw them off the rolls, illegally.By the time anyone knew what happened, george bush was already "appointed",by just 5 votes,in the supreme court.

If you mentioned this or complained that the election was stolen(which it was),you were call "Gore loser",as in sore loser.

Lucky is lying when he says that military votes were caged. He can`t sight it anywhere, cuz it never happened.

http://www.mcclatchydc.com/227/story/19982.html

"WASHINGTON — Ohio and Florida, which provided the decisive electoral votes for President Bush's two razor-thin national election triumphs, have enacted laws that election experts say will help Republicans impede Democratic-leaning minorities from voting in 2008.
Backers of the new laws say they're aimed at curbing vote fraud. But the statutes also could facilitate a controversial Republican tactic known as ``vote caging,'' which the GOP attempted in Ohio and Florida in 2004 before public disclosures foiled the efforts, said Joseph Rich, a former Justice Department voting rights chief in the Bush administration who's now with the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights.
Caging, used in the past to target poor minorities in heavily Democratic precincts, entails sending mass mailings to certain voters and then using the undelivered letters to compile lists of voters for eligibility challenges."

From Wikki,

Monica Goodling (who was 2nd only to Alberto Gonzalez,at the DOJ,btw)cited the existence and concern about "vote caging" in her written and oral testimony to the United States House Judiciary Committee on May 23, 2007, mentioning that Tim Griffin, who was appointed as interim United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Arkansas, would have allegations of vote caging arise if ever presented to be confirmed by the Senate to the office, and that the Deputy Attorney General Paul McNulty "failed to disclose that he had some knowledge of allegations that Tim Griffin had been involved in vote-caging during his work on the president's 2004 campaign."

This is the 2nd highest ranking member of the Justice Dept.,and she`s fucking admitting to "caging"....WTF!!!!

http://www.arkansasleader.com/2007/06/editorialsinvestigate-vote-caging.html

Although Griffin implied last week that he had to look up the word “caging” after he was accused of it, and he declared again this week that the accusations were “malicious and false,” his emails back to the Republican National Committee in 2004 referred to the “caging” his people were doing. The RNC sent letters to thousands of registered voters in predominantly black precincts of Jacksonville, Fla. — thus Democrats, one would assume — with the notation on the envelope that it should not be forwarded.

So if the voter had moved to a new address, it would not be forwarded to him or her but be returned to the sender. Griffin’s people would go to the voting registrar and have the names stricken from the rolls. When they showed up to vote, they couldn’t. A few were in the military, and if they tried to vote by mail, they didn’t get ballot applications or else their votes were not counted.

Some probably were stricken from the rolls unlawfully. Was it voter intimidation?

They stole the 2000 election,as sure as the sun shines.

This is the reason for the guilt and defensiveness. It`s only natural.

Are you talking about the popular vote? The popular vote does not count in any legal capacity for determining the Presidency, as there is no constitutional right to vote. Have you read the Supreme Court decision concerning this?

I hope he does get swiftboated. And soon. He's tearing up the GOP.

John Kerry says McCain wanted to be his running mate back in 2004. What Republican in their right mind would vote for this clown?

Nope I am not alledging that the millitary votes were caged.  I stated that thousands of them did not get postmarked on time, through no fault of the voter, while serving under combat conditions in the Gulf Region.  Hmm, owner provided zero evidence of "caging" in 2000.  But in owners description he lies.  IF you fill a change of adress form your mail follows you when you move.  And you are required by law to vote in the district you live in (or apply ahead of time for an absentee ballot.)

And anyone stricken from the rolls could simply vote a provisional ballot, for any reason.  domken provided proof that it was state law in Florida before the 2004 election.

Let me look through my history file and see if I can find it again. Not sure if I cleared history since then or not. I do remember it was linked off a site that was about the vote fraud in Florida.
