That is so funny, at this late hour I am watching a movie on the tv.The movie is 'Hercules' made in I believe 1969 with Arnie as a young actor,when the time was he was new at acting.

I wonder now if Governor Schwarzenegger still watches those old films, and does he cringe.

It was on Letterman or something several years ago, they played clips from Hercules for arnold.  He cringed and laughed pretty hard.

laughed all the way to the bank.  you can bet he's still making a few bucks off the royalties.  it's not the best film he ever did, if there is a "best", but it helped him get where he is today.

       There is a scene in the mid-70's documentary Pumping Iron (I think that's the title) where der Governator is kicking back, toking on a joint.  Shame the talk shows don't pull that one out on him.

I'd be suprised if he was really truly embarassed.  I'm guessing Arnold knows this acting abilities aren't his best feature.

Hey, we all have a past, and do have some things lying there that we would rather not be reminded of, but if you are in the public eye, things will come up, but I think past is past, a present and future should not be ruled by that past.

It does annoy me where a politician who is trying their best to be something for the benefit of others is smeared by their past.For example,such and such a person smoked a joint in college, so what, who in all honesty has'nt at some point in their life. That kind of thing, I would applause the very first person who is in the throes of a smear campaign, to be honest and say they did do something perhaps wrong, but hey, they are only human.

What I do like about the US, is how Arnie, an immigrant managed to get to Governor, thus showing the prospects available to who ever who wishes to try.
