I look forward to seeing my sub walk in through my door, her her smile, her nervousness and excitement as I issue my first command. The exploration of our D/s relationship can only proceed on a weekly basis (schedule conflicts) but it's what we both look forward to.

As I tell my loves.. nothing is trivial. Each and every little thing matters.

What I love sharing with my girl is ; how she always makes my coffee just right, and always pops in to refill it when it is low.
How she snuggles on my shoulder and proclaims it as "her spot",
how she knows I am stressed at the end of my day when I walk in the door from the office and makes sure I get 10 mins of quiet time ~ she even makes sure the um is quiet.. a massive feat in and of it's self!,
how she cooks special foods for me,
how if I have had a really rotten day she will begin pouring my bath and have a glass of wine for me when I get home. , how she massages me with the scented oil I love each night as we lay in bed and watch Ninja Warrior! ( a guilty pleasure of ours )  http://www.g4tv.com/ninjawarrior/index.html 
How no matter how much she wants to dye the silver out of her hair.. or highlight it she won't because I love my sabled haired vixen just as she is.

Waking up in the morning together, both with my husband and the days I stay with Dale and we have the time to sleep in, they both look beautiful in their sleep.
Sitting, snuggled in bed with the people I love, sharing pictures.  With Rob I love that he can make me laugh so easily, I've shared 18 years with him and he still knows how to be silly, and dances with me in the middle of the living room whenver a song we like plays *S*
On thursday's when I'm not working, I'm Satina's shopping buddie *s*, I look forward to the afternoon together to talk and just share the day. There are alot of little things that make the relationship so rich. What I look forward to the most is knowing they are both going to be a part of our life for many years to come.

Gwyn, we LOVE Ninja Warrior...

I love it when I have the opportunity to wake up with Bo, when he pulls me close to him and we cuddle.  I love walking with him and he reaches back and takes my hand.  I love when we are sitting together and he reaches up and grabs my head by my hair and then smoothes it down and rubs my head.  I love it when I get a text message in the morning when he wakes up that says "good morning sweetie."  I love sitting with him just talking.

I love coming home from school and seeing the smile on his face that tells me how happy is to have me back home.

Him waking me in the morning with soft kisses and the smell of chai tea waiting for me.

The absolute best is when we both climb into bed naked at the end of the day. After the snuggles and kisses I roll over onto my right side and he wraps around me. His arm goes over me and I always hold onto his thumb as I fall to sleep. [:)]

This may be a little off topic but, only a little, as I DID look forward to doing this.
My ex-slave would love to sleep in.  I would be up and rearing to go.  I would often wake him by pulling back the covers and giving him a coffee enema.  He told me that after a while, just the smell of the coffee would wake him up...*chuckle*

There IS something about the smell of coffee in the morning.  No matter how it is inbibed.  It is fun to see how these associations can come about.

First, congratulations on your new family.

"The little things" has been different with different slaves.  However, with the current one, it is when he walks in the door, goes to get his collar, and kneels at my feet with collar extended for application.  My heart races. 
It is when he lays his head in my lap with tears, after a good singletailing, and snivels "I adore you, Mistress."  Then, crawls down and begins to kiss my feet in "thank you's."
It's when he looks up at me, so submissively, with those big blue eyes...then says something heretically hysterical. (he's a Sag).
It's when we pray, before we eat.

with my last dom, the things i loved and looked forward to the most were the first looks at each other in the morning and waking up in the middle of the night and seeing him looking at me...it always made me a little self conscious, but i loved that he did that and that he appreciated me that much.  it always ended in hugs or more and eventually warm, deep, spooning sleep. 

as for what i look forward to now...in time finding the dominant that suits me as i would suit him.   to be continued....

My Master and I don't live together yet...so the thing I look forward to is seeing Him after a long week away. He usually strokes my hair for about 20 minutes so I can reaclimate and that's pure heaven to me....

We go out to breakfast or brunch almost every morning.  I really look forward to that.  There are about five restaurants we rotate through and all involve a drive throught wonderful scenery with a high possibility of seeing wildlife (elk, coyotes, ealges, deer, bears), and we always stop for my sugar free, fat free mocha while He oogles the baristas.  I also enjoy the quiet time with Him each morning.

In fact, i am putting together a booklet entitled "On the Way to Breakfast" which will be a photo journal of our routes to the restaurants.

We are poly so everything gets shared.. but only my girl gets to sleep on that side of me in our bed.. so my right shoulder really is "her spot"

When Daddy and I have the chance to stay the night with each other, that's the side we spoon on and I use my right hand to lace the fingers of His left hand as He has it wrapped around me.

My mind is racing with so many thoughts of simple moments.  Thank you, alandra, for making Me pause to think of the beauty in these simple things.

When My boy kneels, to have his 'everyday' collar removed, and have his 'formal' one put on while he is home.

When the three of U/us sit down to dinner together, or have are three way talks.

When I wake up, and go to the kitchen, and see that there are waffles with fresh fruit, because he's really on this kick about getting Me to eat fruit that's good for Me.

When he has done things to please Me, and lays his head in My lap.

The one thing I look forward to when we spend our days together is when we sleep and he teases me about cuddling, and yet I wake up pinned to the mattress by his arm, completely enveloped by a bear hug, as if I am a pillow he casually uses to cuddle up to. It feels warm, loving, and completely right. It does not matter how much he snores, how he takes the blanket from me, or how hard he pins me to the bed, I sleep better with him than I sleep anywhere else.
