Following on from annabelles thread on muslim posters - sparked the thought to post this.
Right now, there are thousands of shia muslims decending on Iraq to celebrate the Day of Ashura. THis is a rememberence of the death and martrdom of Imam Husan ibn Ali. He was and is considered the righful successor to Muhammad.
This is an important time for Iraq that they can keep control of the situation, with the interference of a cult who call themselves the 'Soldiers of Heaven' Like any organisation or religion, there are extremists. Personally, I would sincerely hope that they do not detract from the remembrence itself.
