I never understood begging.  I usually ask, and when she declines, I assume it's final and stop asking; otherwise, I feel like I'm being a pest. *shrugs*  Maybe that's just me; I tend to follow the 'subs should be seen, not heard' guideline, I suppose.

I share that same mindset.  I'll ask for something, respectfully, of course.  If She declines, I'll drop it.  As for verbally begging, I really don't do it.  No means no.  If Mistress wants me to beg, I'm not very good at it, but I give it my best shot.  To me, it's never been convincing.  Instead, dropping to my knees, whimpering, and gazing up at Her with pleading eyes as I nuzzle against Her legs and kiss Her boots may be considered a different form of begging.  I hope that form works.[;)]

    For me there is no need to beg for things.  But when he requires that I beg for certain things, I love it.

first, congrats sambamanslilgirl on the engagement!!

here's the thing.  i have 4 ums...when i say no and they beg it annoys me because no = no!  Daddy does not have any ums.  He would like me to beg more, but i am uncomfortable asking for something more than once.  if Daddy says no i assume that that is the answer.  He has asked me before why i didnt ask again later.  my response? because you already said no.  if there are any "books" (lol) on begging i would love to read them.  i know that sometimes Daddy would love to hear it, but i just dont know how.

I'm not into begging.  As a dom, where all my experiences have been, I do as I wish (within preset limits), I don't want to hear begging.  As a sub, which I have yet to experience, I expect to obey without question and submit myself to her wished (within preset limits).  No reason for begging.

I don't beg, never have, probably never will.  I will request (forcefully at times according to my man...lol) and then wait.  Patience will out every time.  If he says no, then it's no and I will wait coz I'll get it sooner or later anyway.  If he says yes, then it's sooner.  There is nothing, absolutely nothing, exciting or fireworks-y enough to require begging for it.  Like I said, chances are it will happen anyway.

Exactly my mindset.  I've very obedient, and I would find it disrespectful to question her authority or her decisions. 
However, on my knees, gazing up into her eyes and licking her boots sounds delicious, respectful, and appropriate.
